Mutants

Chapter 20

A few weeks had passed, and well things were certainly different from now on. One: Chance,Jira,and Zephyr were staying with Nya and her parents while Harley and Q were staying with Riley and his mom. The five teens haven't talked to their parents since the cure incident.

After what their parents did Kylo and Gemma ran away to live with Zephyr and Quill, so that meant that Zephyr and Q had to see their younger sisters but in secret.

In the morning Nya was sleeping with her her mom shook her awake. "Come on Nya time for school."

"Go wake up your friends Nya." Nya's mom told her as she left her daughter's room. Nya groaned and rubbed her eyes and got out of bed and went downstairs to the guest room where her friends were sleeping. Nya soon flicked the lights on and off making the girls groan, Chance accidentally kicked Zephyr off the bed as she landed with a thud, causing Gemma to wake up.

Gemma yawned.

Zephyr groaned but she was still sleepy and closed her eyes to sleep some more. Nya soon helped Zephyr off the floor. "Come on guys, time for school."

Chance and Jira started groaned and they got out of bed. Gemma, Jira, Zephyr,and Chance made the bed back up and went to the guest bathroom and brushed they teeth and did their hair. After that they all soon got dressed and heading upstairs where they found Nya's mom, Ms.Prescott, setting breakfast down on the table. "Good Morning, Ms.Prescott." The four girls all greeted.

Ms.Prescott put breakfast in front of the kids. "Good Morning kids. Hurry up and eat you don't want to be late for school." Ms.Prescott soon left the kitchen as the teens ate their breakfast. After they finished breakfast they went out the door and started walking to school.

The girls exit the house. "Hey girls." A voice said as they turned around and saw the boys walking up to them. "Finally" Chance said Nya hugged Riley. Zephyr and Quill soon kissed before quickly pulling apart, causing both Kylo and Gemma to try and hold in their chuckles.

The gang walked off as they dropped off Gemma and Kylo at their school.

The BFS soon walked to their high school. After two periods of classes it was lunch time. Lunch was mashed potatoes with gravy,Spaghetti,and any drink of choice.

The whole Cafeteria was very loud,of teens talking,Laughing,playing around,or telling jokes. Just then the tv went on to the news channel.

"We interrupted this time with important news. Yesterday at the building where the cure was created, The mutants refused to take it."

The tv then showed a recorded of Chance,Q,Zephyr,Jira,and Harley all tied up struggling to break free fighting off the scientists and jumping out of the window and falling down. The teens eyes were glued to the tv.

"Holy shit."

"I don't usually stand up for mutants, but I call bull on that so called cure."

"These people are stupid, you can't cure being a mutant."

The tv then changed to a different scene. "Not only that but two other mutants helped them escape. One with Angel wings and one with freezing powers."

The tv then showed Nya and Riley on tv helping Harley,Chance,Zephyr,Jira,and Q escaping the building.

Q then gave the BFS a signal to leave. They quietly got up before running out of the cafe, ran behind the school.

"I don't like this guys.." Nya said.

"What do we do?" Chance asked.

Just then the gang started talking all at once, all arguing about what they should do. "Guys..lets all calm down I mean how worst can this get?" Riley asked out loud. Zephyr soon pulled out her phone. "I think it can." She said showing them her phone on an new article saying 'HEADLINE: MUTANTS REFUSE TO TAKE CURE' as it showed a picture of the seven mutants. The BFS eyes widen as they looked at each other.

It night time and the girls were at Nya's house and the boys were at Riley's house. The BFS are having the same dream.

Mutants getting tortured,Beat up,turned into weapons. Kids mutants scared for their life's while scream and trying to get away. Mutants from kids,pre teens and teenagers were all screaming trying to run away from guards who were holding laser guns. The Mutants looked scared for their life's. The teenagers pushed the kids and pre teens behind them as they eyes started glowing all these colors.

In the morning The BFS were all at the treehouse doing whatever. "I suppose you have guys had the same dream I did"

The teens all nodded in agreement.

"What do we do?" Asked Chance.

"We have to help the other mutants" Zephyr said.

"We can't leave them in the hands in the facility" Said Nya.

"We're not gonna." Q then stood up and went on the balcony as the others followed. "Cuz were going back for them.."

"What do you mean?" Asked Jira.

"I mean We're going back to the facility..."
