It was 7am on Christmas morning, and Lana opened her eyes when she remembered what day it was. She gently shook Barnaby's sleeping frame to wake him, but he wasn't stirring.

"Barnaby." she whispered, stroking his face, "Barny?"

"Hmm?" he mumbled sleepily.

"Wake up! It's Christmas!" she whispered louder.

"Oh shit, yeah! It's Christmas Day!" he exclaimed, a little loudly, as Bill snorted abruptly and shot up in bed.

"What?" the older boy asked nobody in particular.

"Merry Christmas, Bill." Lana chuckled.

"Oh yeah! Oi, Charlie! Wake up, it's Christmas!" Bill yelled, throwing a pillow at his brother's head.

Charlie bolted up, flinging his arms all over the place to defend himself. Everyone laughed at him as he drowsily opened his eyes.

"What was that for?" he mumbled groggily.

"Payback. It's Christmas Day, Charlie!" his brother said again, and Charlie's eyes lit up and a huge grin took over his features.

"Well, I'm gonna go and get dressed..." Lana said, moving out of Barnaby's arms, but he pulled her back onto the bed. She squealed as she landed on his chest with his arms firmly around her waist, looking into his eyes, unimpressed.

"Hey." she pouted, "Let me go."

"Hold on." he said, before kissing her, "You can go now." he laughed, releasing her from his grip.

Lana chuckled as she walked out the door, glancing over her shoulder at the boy, who winked at her before she left.

"Well, we should start getting dressed too. The kids are probably already up opening presents!" Charlie grinned.

"Merry Christmas, dears!" Molly beamed as everyone gathered downstairs in the living room at about 11:30 am. It looked so magical with all the decorations that they'd put up. Lana was especially proud of the gnome she put on top of the tree - she'd have to wait and see if Molly and Arthur noticed...

Lana was wearing a cosy maroon knitted sweater, tucked into a black skater skirt and black tights. She'd styled her hair in loose beachy waves, and applied a deep red lipstick to her usual makeup look, only glammed up a bit, because it was Christmas after all.

Barnaby came out of the kitchen and the moment he saw Lana, his heart skipped a beat. He watched as she laughed with Bill, unable to believe how stunning she really was. Lana looked his way, and she grinned as she ran over to him. She threw herself onto him in a hug, squeezing him tightly and giggling.

"Merry Christmas!" she said.

"Merry Christmas..." he chuckled, hugging her back.

Lana pulled away and looked into his bright green eyes that never failed to make her knees weak.

"You look handsome." she whispered, smiling playfully.

"Why, thank you." he said back, "You look beautiful." he smiled, leaning closer to her.

She leant in and kissed him sweetly, feeling him smile against her lips. He pulled back and grinned as he set her down on the ground. He wrapped an arm around her as they walked over to join the others, who were all smiling widely and talking amongst themselves.

"Oh, Barnaby, dear! Don't you look handsome!" Molly said kindly.

"Thanks, Mrs Weasley." Barnaby laughed sheepishly.
