Jungkooks pov

"OVER THERE!!! GRAB HER!!!"
Me and my team run into the building and chase the thief up to the roof.

All the other officers begin to slow down but I continue chasing him.i hold my gun up.
I open the roof door to see the woman stood on the edge of the roof.
I gasp "stop! Don't do this! please!"

She turns to me and is breathing heavily "I'm going to jump! I can't go to prison!"
I shake my head and then drop my gun to the floor "ma'am....please....if you return what you have stolen then you won't go away for long... this isn't right! Think about the people you have around you!",

She shakes her head "no! My husband left me! He look my twins with him! I was stealing so I could afford a home! I can't go to prison!!"
I gasp when she takes a step. I run and grab her hand before she could fall.

She looks up at me "let me go!" I shake my head "no! I might be here to arrest you but I'm mainly here to help you! Please! Grab something!"
She nods "okay" she reaches and grabs the edge next to me.

I pull her up, I don't let go of her hand.
My eyes widen when she pulls out a gun. She points it at me and I go to stop her but she pulls the trigger. Luckily I moved so it only skimmed my hip.

I groan and then stand up quickly when she quickly jumps off the roof. I lean over the edge "NO!!!"
I wince and put my hand on my hip.

I look around and then pull out a big Bandaid and I lift my shirt up and put the bandaid on it...this isn't a good idea but y'know....it's fine...

I was meant to wear a bulletproof vest but another cop didn't have one so I have her mine....as long as nobody finds out I won't be put on guard duty!

Other police officers arrive on the roof. I look at the chief "I'm sorry sir....she jumped" he nods "it's fine....you did well today jeon....no wounds?" I shake my head "no sir"
I stand up and wince quietly.

I grab my gun and then walk down to the ground floor when I hear Jennie's voice on the Walkie talkie "jeon....I need your assistance...at the jewelry store around the corner from BIGHIT." I giggle and walk out the building and to the jewelry store to see Jennie stood in front of her police car.

I walk to her and she Huff's "can you take this asshole to the station?", She gestures to a man in the car. I nod "of course but please don't call him that word and be professional" she nods "sorry jungkook I forgot you don't like swearing..."

I nod and get into the car and start it up..I start to drive and I see the man in the back lean forward, I sigh"pleased sit back sir"
We talk for a little bit ((last chapter conversation between the two))

We arrive at the station and I carefully make him get out the car and take him Inside.
My hip really hurts....

I walk in and to the front desk "hey...this is the man for jennie's case?" Rosa looks up from her computer and nods "of course...I'll check now....take him to the cell 205 and he'll be questioned soon",

I nod and then pull the man to the cell. I open the cell door and wince a little. I let my grip lose and put my hand on my hip. I pull my hand away to see blood.
The criminal tilts his head "you were shot....does you boss not care about you?", I push him into the cell and close the door locking it after taking his cuffs off.

The cell door was completed opaque with a small gap in it so we can give him food and water.
I open the gap and nod "he doesn't know....", The criminal chuckles "take some times off cutie~ wouldn't want a beautiful officer hurt~" I blush a little and close the gap and walk away.

I gasp when suddenly my co-worker soobin gasps loudly "jungkook! You're injured!!!" Everyone looks at me. I sigh "it's just a scratch...."
The chief walks over to me and then lifts my top up to reveal my hip.

He raises an eyebrow "you have been shot....you are to go to hospital...you will be on guard duty for lying to me.... report back to me once you arrive back from the hospital" .
He walks away. Soobin walks to me "I'll take you" I huff "thanks...."
We walk out

I'm fine!....I can't believe I'm stuck on guard duty for ages!!!! All I have to do is stand and listen to the criminals whining and talking!
It's so boring!!!......this time is gonna suck!

All criminals talk about is how they're innocent and want to bribe me to let them go or how they're family we're worried sick....it's pathetic....

And I assume this criminal I have to guard won't be any different!.....ugh!
