The walk was tiring and long. No wonder the queen chose out here. It was secluded and surround by natural barriers. Blue was getting worried for Yellow though. She was slow and wincing in pain often. She complained often about a burning sensation in her shoulders.

They would stop to pour water on it then wrap it back up. It was healing which was a good thing. Right now it was mid day and the two were resting as well as the knights. Just as Blue was worrying, Yellow was too.

Blue's horns were much bigger and were more evident under her hood. Her tail was also longer, lined with tiny spikes that were bound to continue growing.

On the other hand, Blue's tail was a good source of finding out how she was feeling and Yellow used it to her advantage. A lot.

"Hey Blue?"

"Yes?"

"Am I your favorite person?"

Blue furrows her brows and hugs her knees tighter, burying her face in between. "No"

Yellow snickers seeing her tail wag. "You can't lie anymore, not with that."

Blue growls, lifting her head. "You shouldn't take advantage of it!"

Yellow covers her mouth at the outburst and looks a couple yards down the trail. The knights didn't hear fortunately. She winces as she let's go and sighs.

Both of them were in pain. Whether be it mentally or physically. The clinking and clanking of metal was the sign that they were on the move again. Blue and Yellow stand up, getting ready to walk.

"We should take them hostage." Blue suggests with a smile.

"No. There are too many of them. The only way we could is you changing."

Blue pouts and reaches to her back. Her fingers-, her claws trail the spikes and she sighs sadly. She freezes as pain shoots throughout her body and slumps to her knees with a scream. Yellow stops and looks at her with wide eyes, wondering what was wrong.

She cringes hearing bones crack and muscles move unsettling. It sounded so painful. Unless the knights were deaf or were onto them, they did not come. Yellow crouches besides Blue and takes her hands.

"I'm here. It'll be alright."

Blue glances up at her. Tears were in the corners of her eyes and she held on tight to Yellow. The pain subsided after a while but she refused to examine her body once again. Yellow didn't really need to search hard. It was very clear what had happened during this time.

"Wings."

Blue quickly turns to look behind her and is in horror to see said wings trapped under her clothes. She let's out a choked sob and tries shifting them in a way it wouldn't look so obvious. Fortunately they weren't big which made it a little easier to conceal and Blue frowns.

"That has to be one of the most painful experiences I've ever had."

Yellow helps her up and let's Blue lean on her for support. "That bad?"

"Yes, my whole body is fatigued."

"I can only imagine. I heard the sounds of your bones."

"Why weren't we caught?"

Yellow starts leading the way. "They probably knew we were following. Going right into their trap."

Blue looks down at the dirt road. Her feet were making dragon prints.

"Well, if they don't catch us. Hunters will."

Yellow also looks down then behind them. She was right. So the definite way of stopping them was carrying Blue and that is exactly what she did, scooping her up into her arms.
