Another day in madness..
..veiled with the image of paradise
"No wonder you visit the café so often. You're literally living next to it."
Rosé said as soon as she walked past you inside. You furrowed your brows in confusion while getting the key out of the hole after opening the door, "I do not live next to it. It's just the streets down, and I'm not that often there!" She snickered at the typical sound of your annoyed voice, her eyes wandering around the big space.
The apartment was indeed impressing. The big living room had an open kitchen, so it seemed bigger than it already was. Down the floor you'd spot six other doors, three of them across the others while one single door was positioned in between them at the end of the corridor, making a total of seven doors.
Everything was colored in bright tones combined with the right mix of luxury and old- fashioned furniture. Rosé was amazed. It was nothing close to her dorm, yet she still liked it. It gave off a 'student vibe' kind of apartment and that's the very reason why she felt envious. She never had the chance to go to college, and probably will never have. You observed her reaction, a little nervous to show her your place. But as soon as you spotted the wrinkles on her forehead, you already forgot about your worries. You walked up to her, she was already getting closer to the other doors, before you took the chance to break the silence, "Hey, you okay?"
It took her a few seconds before she looked briefly back at you and nodded, "Yeah, why wouldn't I? Which one is your room? And why do you have so many doors? This flat is huge, do you have siblings? Wait, are you living with your family?" She held in her steps after bubbling questions after questions, flipping her head ridiculously quick in your direction and making you trip backwards. Her eyes were big, "Wait, how old are you!? You're not a minor, are you?"
After you blinked surprised at her outburst, you started to laugh. She looked ridiculously cute, "I was a student while we were at the café, and I am still one while being here. So, to answer your question; no, I'm clearly not a minor. I am 22 years old; my birthday is like yours in February and just to mention, I'm one year younger than you." She sighed with relief, her posture slacking down. You two were still standing on the same spot, "I have a big brother, but I do not live with him and my parents though. Instead, I have roommates," you look back to the entrance to make sure that there was no sign of them being here, "but they are not here right now."
The blonde nodded. You pointed at your room's door, Rosie following your arm as her eyes landed on the white door behind to the left. "That's mine. The boys are sharing one bathroom and we, girls, the other. And the single door is like a function room." You told her while walking to your room. Rosé was listening attentively during your apartment tour. After opening the door wide, you let her go in first. She smiled sweetly at you before entering your private space.
It was simple; a big room decorated with a bed, desk, and a walk-in wardrobe. The first thing the idol did is to go to your bookshelf. Her fingers streaking against a bunch of dusty-free books. Not to lie, she was impressed by your collection, "Jisoo unnie likes to read, too. You'd probably get along well."
You swallowed hardly, not knowing how to response to her mentioning one of her members. Rosé looked shortly at you after not getting a response as she expected. Then she left the books behind and turned her attention to the desk next to the bookshelf. Her eyes were darker than usual. But none of those kinds that reflected arousal and excitement. You were irritated by that and could only watch her while she was inspecting your things. She touched your MacBook for a second, pondering if she should open it or not. She chose the latter, her eyes already finding something else interesting. You sneaked behind her as she picked up your sketchbook.
