As the sun lowered itself past the horizon, the city lights glistened as a small white butterfly flew into the sky. A thin, navy blue haired girl watched as silence engulfed her. Her red and black polka-dotted suit clung to her body as she reluctantly leaned against the chimney for support. As she slumped down, she heard a tap as a boy with golden hair landed next to her. His black suit also clung to his body, while his ears and tail easily portray every emotion the boy felt.
"What's wrong Bugaboo?" He questioned as he looked at his lady sitting on the roof alone, her head tucked between her knees.
"Nothing Chat, just tired-" Two sudden beeps broke Ladybug's reply, as both heroes stared at each other in acknowledgement.
Ladybug stood up as she started to unclip her yo-yo from her waist. Before she could whip her yo-yo out and fly back to her daily life, she felt a set of claws gently grip her arm, while the other lifted her chin as she stared into a sea of green.
"Don't I deserve an evening's kiss for a job well done?" he playfully smirked as he watched his lady stare into his eyes before looking away.
"Not today Chaton. Have fun patrolling tonight." She said playfully, before using her middle finger and thumb to flick Chat's nose. She chuckled seeing Chat pinch the tip of his nose and pout from the unexpected touch.
Ladybug then grabbed her yo-yo in her right hand as she latched it onto the roof two buildings away. She glanced back at Chat before smiling and jumped away into the night.
Chat sighed as he watched his lady disappear, until he could no longer spot the red of her suit. He unclipped his silver baton from his back and decided to make his own way back home before he openly exposed the boy under the mask.
Hi everyone! For starters, I hope you guys would be willing to stick around with me on this journey since this is my first time publishing a story. If I make any mistakes, don't hesitate to tell me in the comments. I don't really have a direction for this story so I'm kind of just writing as I go along.
