Author's Note: I'm going to try and rotate perspectives each chapter, switching between Marinette and Adrien. To start us off, let's check in on Marinette (enjoy)!
"Marinette, wake up! You're going to be late for school, wake up!" Tikki yelled into Marinette's ear, hoping to wake her up before it's too late. Her alarm has been ringing for the past ten minutes, to no avail.
With her face snuggled close to her pillow, she stuck an arm out from under the covers to reach for her phone. She picked it up with just the tips of her fingers and slightly lifted her head up from her pillow to look at the screen. Her eyes widened when she saw the time that was displayed. Tikki flew out of the way to avoid Marinette swinging arms as she scrambled out of bed, almost tumbling down the stairs that led to the rest of her bedroom in the process.
Marinette quickly rushed to her bathroom to brush her teeth and take a shower. Meanwhile, Tikki helped by placing clean clothes and her school bag on her pink and white polka-dotted couch. As fast as she could, Marinette rushed out of the bathroom with a red towel wrapped around her body as she started to change into her usual clothes.
"Oh Tikki, I'm sorry. I guess I'll never learn, will I?" Marinette sighed as she remained hyper alert on the clock that her phone displayed.
"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll get there one day, but you better start heading out now so you can eat breakfast." Tikki flew into Marinette's side pouch, just as she slipped on both shoes.
Marinette crouched down and was just about to open the trapdoor when she glanced up, and spotted her reflection in the mirror. That's when she realized she forgot to tie her hair back in their classic pigtail style. She quickly got up and grabbed two scrap red ribbons she had one her desk from a previous design project she did. Then she crouched back down, opened the trapdoor, and slowly made her way down the stairs.
Careful as to not trip on the final step, Marinette made her made to the kitchen where she saw her parents getting the ingredients ready for the bakery on the first floor.
"Bonjour maman, papa." Marinette smiled as she hugged both of her parents. She could smell a fresh batch of macarons cooling off by the window.
"Bonjour Honey, I made you a plate of your dad's world famous Strawberry Maple pancakes." Tom exclaimed with a proud look on his face.
"And don't forget about your mom's famous strawberry smoothie." Sabine smiled as she kissed her daughter's cheek, handing her a glass cup full of soft pink googieness. In walking towards the table, Marinette had tripped on the tip of her toes and almost dropped the glass, giving both of her parents a mini heart attack. She looked back and gave them a half-smile before sitting down and started to devour the pancakes.

"Alright mom, dad, I'm gonna head off to school!" Marinette ran up and kissed both of her parents' cheeks, before running over to the window and grabbing two macarons, placing them both in her side pouch.
She opened the Bakery door, waved back to her parents, and started to dash to school. All while hoping that she could get a quick glimpse of a certain pair of green eyes.
I hope you enjoyed the very first chapter of my first publication. I hope it was good enough for a first attempt.
Til next time, Bye bye~
