I walked down the beach hand in hand with Arthur.

"So, Molly, you wanted to talk to me?" he asks, his eyes twinkling in the moonlight.

"Yes, I wanted to know if any of this meant anything to you. I love every minute of it, but if you don't then I don't think I can't-" I ramble, but am cut off by Arthur.

"Of course it means something, I also love every minute of this. How 'bout we seal it off with a kiss?" he asks, smirking ever so slightly.

I nod and capture his lips in a kiss. I felt him smile against my lips and then he kissed back.

That's how the night went. We talked about things, and once we ran out of things to talk about, we kissed. We didn't even realize that it was four in the mourning once we got tired. We sneaked back to the castle, but when we got to the portrait, we saw Apollyon Pringle, the caretaker. Arthur motioned for me to go while he distracts him.

"Hey, Pringle! I'm out here! It's four am! Beat me!" he shouted, waving his arms and jumping up and down. I smile at his foolishness.

I crept into the portrait and head to my dorm. I fall asleep thinking about how wonderful Arthur looked in the moonlight....

The next morning I sneak up to his dorm and knock on the door. Bryce answers it.

"Hey, Molly, Arthur's out cold, Pringle gave him a good beating. You can come in if you want, I'm going to head in the shower soon, though." he says cheerfully. I catch the meaning. That means Mason is going to come out.

Darn. Mason is every girls dream. Well, but mine. And those who have boyfriends. He keeps his hair parted to the side, and he smells like ocean water. He doesn't try to be a ladies' man, though. He's a lovely boy if you get to know him. All he wants is to be treated normally. His mother is a very beautiful woman, and his father is very rich. He only uses the ocean cologne and the fancy shampoos because his parents meet him in Hogsmeade every week and if he doesn't have it on, he has to go home for a week to become 'spruced up'.

Soon, the devil comes out. He waves at me, and I wave back, turning my attention back to Arthur. I stroke his cheek and push his hair out of his face. He rolls over in his sleep, exposing the marks that he got from Pringle. I gasp.

He has about six of them, and they are all in the middle of his back. His other other roommate Wilson notices me looking and says,"I did the best that I could. Don't try to get the marks off, Pringle puts some sort of charm on the stick. He'll wake up in heaven, having the girl of his dreams at his bedside."

I smile. Arthur stirs. I immediately get a glass of water and ask him,"Are you alright?"

He groans and nods, then realizes who it is and says, "Molls?" I nod.

"Wonderful to see you. Are there still pancakes? Hot chocolate?" he mumbles.

I giggle and hand him the water. He drinks it and we talk. For hours.

This is when I realize that we may not be the perfect couple, but we were made for each other.
