Before Leomord could persist his assault on the young male Leonin, Fanny is just on time to grab him away from the attack. Yet her safety is not assured. Before she could escape with her cables, the phantom horse rider from the abyss manages to pierce her on the back and right through her abdomen.

"Fanny!"

She could hear the shrieks of the demons being overpowered by the scream of her colleagues, yelling her name. She could feel the lance that seems to devour her entire being. Her wound did not stop her from activating her cables yet again, but she has to endure the pain, to keep Harith safe.

"Fanny, take me down. We have to heal your wound," Harith insists but his words did not falter the assassin's volition.

As they fly through the air, Fanny is losing too much blood, the pain worsens as the abyssal poison from Leomord's lance starts to creep inside her body. She grits her teeth, letting out a grunt of pain and when she sees Tigreal and Alucard coming towards their direction, she decides to deactivate her cables. She lets herself fall with Harith still in her arms.

"Save yourself," she whispers to the young Leonin before letting him go and has herself roll on the ground, blood tainting the tracks she leaves behind. Despite her self-restraint to not show any pain, Fanny fails to do such for she feels like being burned inside her abdomen and she still could feel the presence of the Leomord's weapon. It was as if it is stuck in her.

She screamed in pain, her hands pressing on her wound on the abdomen. Tears slowly fall from her eyes as her gaze settles on her colleagues running towards her direction.

Leomord would not let them getaway, he comes running towards Fanny who is now vulnerable. With one swift cut of his lance on the air, a portal suddenly opens and his horse, Barbiel, jumps out. Whilst still running, he gets on his phantom horse without much problem.

"Fanny, hold on for a moment," Alucard states as he stoops down to carry her in his arms. They have to bring her to a healer or it will be too late. Tigreal, on the other hand, stands in front to protect them in case someone wants to attack. Harith is still horrified, not because he was about to die, but for a reason that one of his colleagues is in the verge of death because he has let his guard down for a few minutes.

When Granger holds him by the shoulder, he flinches, his eyes wide open and his hands trembling that the death chanter eventually notices.

"Granger, I'm sorry," is all that he says as tears fill up his eyes. His ears are stooping low which shows that he is truly devastated of what happened. Yet consoling someone is not his forte so he simply draws him close and let him cry for a while.

"We are in a war, Harith. Getting wounded is inevitable and if that happens, we should fight a little harder to protect those who needed us," he states in a rather low tone of voice.

Sniffing, the male Leonin lifts his gaze at Granger.

"I never thought you would be this comforting," he says which makes the death chanter look away with his face turning red.

Feeling a bit uplifted, Harith joins Granger in running towards Tigreal to lend him a hand.

With just one stomp from Barbiel, the ground suddenly shakes and immediately rises up, making the three men lose their balance and fall back to the solid ground. With his lance drawn again and ready to strike, Leomord charges forward as he takes advantage of the warriors'  susceptibility in attacks.

Yet before he could reach them, a sound of cracking, molten rocks becomes louder. Barbiel neighs upon detecting the incoming danger, lifting its forefeet up in the air. When Leomord manages to calm him down, he lifts his gaze up and sees a pair of spiked shields that looks like a yo-yo. He immediately pulls the reins and Barbiel gallops away from their original position before Baxia could plummet them to death.

Baxia, the tank of the Oriental Fighters, withdraws from his rolling shield form as he stands with full might. His muscled build is bare, letting the gust of wind touch his skin. With his intervention, Tigreal, Harith and Granger manage to get back on their feet.

"We'll deal with this one," Baxia says, "You deal with that glowing green bastard over there."

Shifting to their right, the three members of the Lightborn squad sees a heavily-armored man holding a huge hammer. With a simple nod from them, they all head towards the new enemy.

"You always like to show off, Bixie," Wanwan pouts as she jumps onto the side of the tank. She is the marksman of the team and she is hard to outmatch because of her agility and, of course, her hidden weapons that is to be watched out for. Baxia creases his forehead, annoyed at the name that Wanwan calls him. It sounds like pixie which is very much feminine, he dislikes it. Yet he chooses to be quiet for it is no use arguing with her and, well, they are facing a war.

"We must hold them off until Zilong comes back," he simply states.

"Oh, you like it now, don't you?" Wanwan teases, her tail jiggling behind her and she even pokes him on the side. "You like being the leader whilst Zilong isn't here."

He humphs, looking away from the agile tigress. She is about to make another remark to tease Baxia but she lets out a yelp upon receiving a whack on the back of her head.

"What is the big deal, Lingling?!" she chirps while rubbing her head. Ling heaves an exasperated sigh while shaking his head to rid of the building up annoyance for being called by such a feminine nickname.

Baxia suddenly steps forward and clangs his two shields together, blocking the attack of Leomord. The other two, Ling and Wanwan, get serious as well. With another stomp from Barbiel, the ground shakes once more as it rises yet the Oriental Fighters are fast enough to avoid that kind of attack; Baxia turns into his huge yo-yo form and rolls down on the stable ground, Ling leaps away and Wanwan dives through the air.

Despite being midair and is doing a flip, she outstretches her arms and releases her needles that immediately shot at the vital parts of Leomord. She smirks for it is a success in marking him; her shots are right on target.

But it is a short-lived victory for her. Ling grabs her by the waist as if she is just some kid playing on the playground. And as he steps on solid ground, he puts her down before turning his back on her.

"Your poison won't work on Leomord so be more careful," Ling states. Just then, Wanwan notices that he is right. The horseman is still fighting at his best, her supposed to be deadly needles did not work on him. She, then, realizes something important.

With a slightly close-lipped smile, she mumbles, "I forgot, he is a living dead. Lol, he got me there."

Whilst the Oriental Fighters are ganging up on Leomord, Princess Silvanna attends to the wounded assassin of the Lightborn squad. Fanny is barely breathing, her lips and skin is becoming paler and paler. Her strength is being drained that it is already hard for her to move even an inch.

"What happened?" she asks Alucard.

"She was stabbed by Leomord," is the simple reply of the demon hunter, his hands and clothes are stained with his colleague's blood.

Princess Silvanna suddenly feels the presence of the magical crystals and when she lifts her gaze up in the air, her expression softens upon seeing two of the crystals are coming on their direction. Their golden rays become brighter and they are coming at a faster speed.

The other three crystals are also heading to Tigreal, Granger and Harith who are charging towards Terizla. Feeling their presence, the three look back only to be hit right on their forehead. With the blinding light, they shut their eyes and did not know what is going on. The power that is long stored inside the crystals immediately unleash for they has found the perfect medium who shall control it.

"No!" Alice screams, witnessing her dream crystals being used by other warriors. It should have been her, it should have been her who shall use the power and no one else.

"Maybe a little upgrade of my demons would make this even more thrilling," Dyrroth says, his smirk almost reach his ear. With just one snap of his fingers, all the demons let out deafening shrieks as clouds that are colored black start to surround them.

With the sudden changes, Princess Silvanna clenches her fists for the situation is becoming worse.

"The dead shall rise!" Dyrroth claims and the ground shakes as it opens up to the call of the prince of the abyss.
