-GET OUT OF MY VIEW YOU DEMON !
Rosa never understood why her dad didn’t love her.
She loved him so much.
But he only loved his other children.
She did everything so he would love her, but he never got over it.
She looked exactly like her mother.
The irony is that she killed her mother, when she gave birth to her.
She didn’t survive the birthing, so her dad, mostly because of his superstitions, thought that she was a demon, that she killed the women that gave her birth, and stole her face.
That’s the only reason he didn’t kill her, well that and the fact he was afraid what the people would say.
Each time he beated her he made sure to put something over her face, or to simply look somewhere else.
But each time, when he was done, she would look at him and smile.
Rosa never understood why her dad hated her.
She couldn’t play with her siblings, and her dad always told them she deserve all this, that she killed there mother.
They all loved their mother, she was so soft and sweet.
Rosa wanted to be like her, even if she never met her, but she heard stories, and she thought if she was more like her, her dad would love her too.
The only person that was good with her was her older sister, she would always heal her after her father beat her, and give her advice on how to be more loved.
“Listen to me Rosa, I’m gonna tell you why dad hates you”, her voice was like crystal, beautiful, angelic.
“Dad hates you because you remind him of mom, you are becoming like her more and more everyday, each time he see you, all the memories get back, and you know why we are sad when people die ? because all what’s left is the memories, and all you can do is remember how happy you were, and dad remember how happy he was, before you killed mom”
Her voice was like crystal.
“But it’s not my fault ! I never wanted anyone to die”
Rosa was lost, the only person that ever showed a bit of compassion toward her was treating her like a monster.
“You didn’t want to ? and what does that change ? you are alive and mom is dead. Everyone hates you and everyone loved her, the only way for you to stop making dad sad is to disappear, leave this place and never come back, everyone will be happy”
Her voice was like crystal.
Sharp.
Devilish.
And it cut right threw Rosa’s heart.
She never cried before, she always did her best to keep smiling, because she heard that’s how her mom, no not her mom.
She never had a mom.
She never had a family.
She always kept smiling because that’s how the woman that gave her birth was.
That’s how the strong were, they always smile, even when no one else can.
But this time, it was too much.
She cried, she cried so much her head hurt, and before she realised it, she was on a road, in the forest, alone…
