background : casper was adopted by a greek couple, emma nikolai and a man who soon divorced. emma soon moved to japan with her adopted baby, and fell in love with a lesser known hero, yuki honda, and when he was five, they married. but eventually, yuki was fatally injured and lost an arm during a battle with a villain which was vital to her quirk when casper was seven. from that day, he vowed he would become a hero, just like her.
