Kirishima," Let me tell you what's going on..."

Katsuki POV:

I could tell Kirishima was trying to keep it in as he tried to talk. I was tempted to hold on to him, let him know at least someone was there, but I also felt that it would help him to do it himself. He cleared his throat and began to talk.

"I'm sorry I got upset, I just wasn't ready to talk about things yet. Thank you for supporting me. Things have been hard and your family has been nothing but nice. I knew my parents were toxic, as bad as it sounds. Maybe getting out of there was for the better. I just... I wish they had paid in full. You've been nothing but... hic... hic..."

Kirishima started crying and I leaned over to him for a hug. "I'm...hic... sorry.... I didn't want...hic... to cry. I know it's unmanly."

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked him in the eyes. "Listen Kiri because I'm only going to say this once. You're not unmanly. You're one of the manliest people I know." I leaned into him, giving him a good squeeze and gently wiping the tears off his face.

"Immhmn"

His face was still in my shirt and I couldn't hear him as he was mumbling. Even then, my heart couldn't help but flutter.

"What'd you say Kiri?"

I leaned back to look at him and finally his face was brightly flushed. His crying had stopped, so it wasn't that was it?

"Bakugou, I've sat and thought about this for weeks. I know I'm not the greatest at feelings and stuff, and I hope you eon't think of me any differently. I think I-"

"SLAM"

"HEY KIDS WANT SOME FUCKIN ICE CREAM?!"

The old hag burst in with a grin. When she saw we were talking her smile faded. Kirishima looked like he was about to faint.

"Really old lady?!"

"Don't talk to me like that you lil shit! Now come on we're getting ice-cream."
