Something like a story

Chapter 11

We made it halfway. Halfway through the movie before we all got thirsty and had to use the bathroom. I paused the film and Bella made her way to the downstairs bathroom while Crystal and I made out way upstairs. I motioned to the kitchen and she nodded her head.

" I'll meet you downstairs"

she nodded her head and walked into the bathroom. I made sure my walking didn't make too much noise to notify the boys of my arrival upstairs. But thankfully I was in luck. I heard chatter but it was women's voices. I walked in and was greeted by mamma hemmings and Chef Katie. Smiling at the two of them I grabbed the cups and got the drinks without interrupting their conversation. As I was making my exit Mrs. Hemmings said wait. I turned around to face her and waited for her to speak.

" Obviously I know about the encounter earlier. Bella was not discrete about her yelling. " She says and I go to open my mouth but close it as soon as she brings her hand up. " You had every right to hit my son this morning. What was done and said was uncalled for and I'd love to spend some alone time you, dear. I love you like my own. I will never condone my son's behavior toward you. I thought I raised him better than that. I thought you two would end up together. I thought he'd get his act together... But I guess not. I'm happy you don't give in to that."

"Thank you so much for understanding why I did what I did and not completely lecturing me for it. And yes once this craziness is over we can go grab some lunch at a place of your choice. The girls and I are finishing up a movie if you'd like to join us for the next one?"

She smiled at my offer and waved her hand " No you go have fun with the girls. I'm going to head off to bed soon. Thank you, dear." 

I smiled softly before heading downstairs. Met with two really loud finally, 's I rolled my eyes and handed them their drinks before grabbing some cookie dough bites and curling up to finish the movie. Some time passed and the movie finished. We all exchanged a look and tried to make a mental decision on whether to start another movie or not. I looked at the wall and quickly got up and ran into the game room screaming for them to follow. They both ran into the room with evil grins. We looked around for a game and decided on the best game of all. LIFE! I sat down and set the board up while Bella set up the bank and Crystal set up the cards. We all picked our cars and spun the wheel to see who would go first. Crystal spun a ten, I spun an eight and Bella spun a two. Crystal decided to take the life route while Bella and I took the college oath laughing at how we both did online studies and kind of stopped when the whole modeling business started. We went about the first few turns laughing like crazy people as we landed on life chips and donated money to charity or the animal hospital. Bella ended up having a baby boy right after getting married while crystal had two girls. Yet I managed to almost make it throughout the game without kids but ended the game with twins and ended up winning the game. I laughed as I watched Bella and Crystal duke it out for the second place but was rudely interrupted by the sudden attack of nerf bullets. The girls and I screamed taking cover behind the couch. I peaked behind the couch to see Michael and Ashton decked out in vests, extra bullets, goggles, and camo. As well as GoPro's.  I shook my head and rolled my eyes knowing that the kitchen being quiet was too good to be true.

"How is this fair?! It's four vs three and you all have guns." Bella yelled.

"All's fair in love and war young ones," Michael yelled giggling evilly. I looked at his girlfriend and shook my head.

"This. This is what you are with." I said to her earning a loud hey and more shooting. She shook her head. I looked around and remember hiding a gun underneath the game couches from the last time we did this. I looked at the couch to my left and crawled over to it slowly sticking my hand underneath to grab the gun I had taped to the bottom of the couch. I shimmied it out from underneath looking back at Bella and Crystal who open their mouths in a shocked expression. I crawled back to them loading my gun I aimed at Ashton's stomach causing his vest to light up. I tossed the gun over to Crystal and crawled over to where Ashton had Dramatically thrown himself onto the floor.
