Hi I'm Aria James, and I'm almost 18, one day until my birthday. I live with my uncle bradley but i call him uncle brad for short. And i live with him because my parents died in a car crash. My uncle and i are both werewolves but my uncle? he has found his mate...my aunt Olivia. They are lovely people and very loud and out going. When my parents passed away, they were very protective of me and that so I'm thankful to that. It's 9:30pm at night and I'm sitting here doing homework. I hate homework always have and always will, Ugh! My best friend Jessica and her mate jack which he is also my best friends but not as close as me and jess, they are both coming over for my birthday! Which is tomorrow....

I guess I could say I'm excited about it but also nervous because thats when the day I find my mate. And I guess It's cool but I'm not those kind of girls who will fall to there feet and love them. I'm an independent women who is capable of taking care of her self and making herself happy. But if my mate treats me right and loves me for me, that's all I could ask for really. Getting pulled out of my thoughts I hear my aunt call for me. " Aria! Dinner is ready love!". Mmmm yum I'm starving. As I make my way down I greet everyone who is here. My aunt and uncle have bought friends over for dinner. "Hey everyone!" I greet. And they all greet back and end it with a smile.

"Hey aunt Liv, what ya makin?" I asked. "I'm making a chicken roast with veggies and pasta on the side". I mumble an mmmm and return her reply with a smile and kissing her on the cheek. I make my way down to the table as I helped place the food down. As I sit my self down I'm greeted with my my uncle talking to me. "So Ari, I see it's a special day tomorrow?" he mentions with a smirk. "Umm yeah, I know haha". I reply with a nervous smile.
"I want u to remember that if you find your mate, make sure he's good for you or he will-". He was cut of by me
"Or he will have to deal with you and will be sorry...". I finish with the face expression of ' I already know what happens'. "Good, that's exactly what will happen". We all were eating in silence until I excused myself from the table to wash my dishes. I quickly said goodnight to everyone as they said the same. I made my way to my bedroom and headed to my bathroom to have a shower.

I made my way of the shower and popped on my grey sweats and a baggy tee. I hopped into bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. I thought about that before I let the darkness take over.
