Aria POV

I was laying down on something very uncomfortable. I fulling opened my eyes to see that I was in a cell.

"Well hello Aria" sam snicked

"What are you doing" I was chanined to the bed.

"Well as you know the war is today amd they can't have you"

"When Jace gets his hands on you, you'll be begging for life"I threatened.

He maliciously laughed "oh sweetheart, hes gonna have to get to me first, oh and by the way, I've injected you with wolfsbane so you can't contact anyone or shift. Have fun". He said before walking out.

Ughhhh! This is so stupid. I yelled at myself. I tried minlinking or shifting. Nope. Nothing had happened, I have to get out of here. I thrashed against the bars but realized they were silver. Werewolves or lycans cant touch silver it burns them. Just then I started hearing screaming and yelling.

The war had started.

I started panicking. Jace! Was he okay was he dead? Oh my god. I started yelling.

"Someone get me out!!" I repeatedly yelled. Until I hear footsteps. It was sam.

"You can't get out". He said slightly bathed in others blood.

"I challenge you to a fight until death". I was determine to beat this pycopathical idiot.

"Ah, brave I see" he pause for a bit.

" I accept" he said

Jaces POV.

There were wolves fighting and wolves dying. Only a couple from my pack were dead but same were dying. But most of his were quiet strong cause all of them were lycans like my pack and myself. Where's aria? Where sam? I started panicking I didn't see a wolf charge at me. Luckly my reflexes were working because, I turned around and swung the wolf over and cracked its neck before it hit the ground.

I was running and dodging wolves and fighting  quickly so I could find aria. Most of the war was over so I decided to mind link my beta james. "James, come search for aria"I said through the link
"Yes alpha".

We met up and started running to the cellars. It was kind of hard considering we had hundreds of wolves everywhere fighting and some even charging at us.

Don't worry Aria I'm coming.

Arias POV.

Once I challenge Sam, we were circling I'm wolf forms. I looked at his stepping. He stopped and started running with his right back leg coming first while his two front legs boosted him. He tried to go for my neck but I doged it and tripped him. I then had the chance to go on top and bite his neck. As he yelped I went harder. He kicked me off and I went flying and hit the wall ending with a yelp. He then ran straight for me but I side stepped it, he then ran into the wall. After minutes of fighting I decided to do my trick that my dad taught me before h died. I watched Sam's steps. He ran for it and so did I,I then ducked and tripped him, while he went in the air I quickly jumped up and connected my mouth with his neck and pushed him body now. I stood my grown and held my grip only going tighter. I soon felt his body limp but before he took his last breathe he said through my head, "more will come to fight to what they want for there alpha," after he said that death took his life. What did he mean.?

I shifted back into my human form. When I saw light, I just collapse feeling weak and tired and sore.

"Aria!" I heard someone call my name but it was too late, I just layed there. "Come on baby, don't leave me! Please....I love you" jace said through tears.

"Someome get the pack doctor!" He exclaimed. I soon started feeling drowsy, I wanted to let sleep take over but Have kept yelling me to stay away. If I die I need to tell him why sam said to me. I tried talking

"Sam said something" I said barely in a whisper.

"What did he say!" He said holding me tighter.

"He said.... more will come to fight to what they want for there alpha."I said before drifting away. Did I pass out or did I die? I felt alone at this point.
