She stood in front of the mirror and examined her hair. These few years passed very quietly. Little did she know how far she had left behind. Time had only affected her so much that she was no longer an 18-year-old girl but a serious 23-year-old girl. It is said that time is a great ointment but infact there are some wounds that last a lifetime. She didn't have any problems here but the gap that time had created in her life was still there. This reality was accepted by her that whenever she remembered waheed remembrance of hassan automatically occurred.
She put the bag on her shoulder and came out.
"Hey Noor! Where did you disappear? No news?" At that moment, Madam Ruqaiyah also came out of her room.
"yea, actually baiting preparations are going on and I can't find the time. How are you?" She stepped along with her.
"By the grace of Allah, I am fine. I miss my son a lot these days. He's gone out and left me here. He's far away from home and also made me homeless. That's all you are. I can lighten the burden of my heart by talking to you but even you are not there for me nowadays. By the way do you have time this evening? It has been a long time since we had tea together" She had started as usual without any full stop. As they approached the library, they stopped.
"Yes, of course" she said immediately. For her too, she was no less than a close friend.
"Okay, see you in the evening" She went inside. Noor also took a step towards activity room. There were many competitions in the school and as an Urdu teacher she was given the responsibility of baiting.
As soon as she arrived, all the girls stood up.
"Walikum assalam. Please continue" she said while moving towards her desk. Although the competition was between several schools, she divided her school team into two to test their readiness. Now there was a fierce battle between the two.
"The thought came when i saw you
Life sun, you dark shadow" She felt frozen as soon as she heard the words of the poetry. What was it that she remembered. That day, that moment, that river, that weather and that person! Suddenly tears spread in her eyes but she skillfully took them inside. Time had taught her this skill very well. At that moment her eyes fell on the girl sitting at the end of the third bench. Her wet eyelids were clearly visible. She was not Noor-ul-Ain to take this moisture away from inside. Some other girls also saw her tears. Those who had seen her tears were stopping the preparation and attracting others to her as well. Noor got up.
"What's the matter? Always remember one thing. Never laugh at others. Never make fun of others or time will make fun of you. Let's continue" she said to the other girls without looking at Taban. She warned in a gentle tone which had a significant effect. They all got ready again. After the classes were over, she called Taban. Noor was sitting alone on a bench in the field.
"Yes, ma'am" she said shortly after.
"Sit down" Noor motioned for her to sit down. She sat quietly.
"I will not ask you why you are crying. I did not call you for that" She looked at Taban who was sitting with a bowed head and then spoke again after a while.
"I just want to say don't let your grief be on everyone. Not everyone is kind to us. People ask questions, make things up and we give them a chance to make things up. We have to make ourselves so strong. If a mountain of sorrows fall on you make yourself strong enough so you can stand firm" She gently told her what time had explained to her after a hard experience.
"I am not saying that you should bury your sorrows within yourself. The burden of the heart should be lightened but only in front of those who are your own. Who understand you. Who can feel your sorrow. Can understand as you want them to understand. Got it?" She looked carefully at her bowed head and then realized that she was crying silently with her head bowed. Noor gently took her hand.
"Let all the dust of your heart go out today. Never shed tears like this again" She saw the pearl shining on Taban's eyes.
"Ma'am! He's angry with me. He wants me to go to his village with him while I... I don't wanna do so" she seemed to be further broken by her sympathy. Immediately taban sat down to take out the dust of her heart.
"Why does he want you to go to his village?" A net of wrinkles remained on his forehead.
"He has to go to the village where he lives for some work. He studies in this city. He has to go for a few hours so he wants to take me with him so that he can show me his village. I forbade him and he got angry with me. We haven't talked for three days" She told her in more detail. She was left speechless. Another noor! Another waheed! and it was not necessary that there be any hassan in the destiny of this noor.
"Tabaan! Not every man is the same but whether a man is good or bad, we must set the same limits for every man. There are some mistakes that keep bothering us all our lives. Do not listen to your heart so much that you are destroyed. He is angry, let him be. He does not talk, that's okay too. The meaning of a hadith is that if a servant does something that angers Allah, the Lord of Glory, in order to please the people, then Allah, the Lord of Glory, also makes the people angry and if the servant angers the people to please Allah then Allah makes the people happy too. If you obey him today to please him, he may get angry at something else tomorrow. You are smart enough. I hope you understand. Make yourself strong. A woman is not so weak" She glanced at her rosy face and stood up.
"Take care of yourself" she said with an encouraging smile. As she approached the faculty hostel, she once again turned and saw Taban sitting on the bench with her head bowed. It takes time to make some decisions but if the decision is made right then the sadness does not remain.

"Mama! What are you saying? How can I marry her?" He jumped in shock.
"Why? You didn't like any british, did you?" He removed the phone from his ear and stared at it. An innocent face flashed across his mind.
"What are you talking about Mama? Do you think so?" He shook his head sadly.
"So why are you forbidding?" There was frustration in her tone.
"Oh, Mama! Just leave it at that. I'm coming. Let's talk together" He tried to explain to her patiently. Time also had a profound effect on him. The euphoria that once characterized his personality seemed to be lost somewhere.
"Okay but don't forbid. I like noor very much" she said, startled badly.
"Noor but where is she here?" The mind immediately refuted this idea.
"Is there a picture of her, Mama?" He asked for consolation.
"Yes, I have one by coincidence. I'll send it in a moment. Take care of yourself" She said goodbye and hung up. On the other hand he was eagerly waiting for her message with his mobile phone in his hand. At the same time, various thoughts were surrounding his mind. Is it time for prayers to be accepted?
After a while, the specific tone of the message attracted him. He quickly opened the message and as time went on.
She was the same!
