Chapter Five: Nightmare, Dream or Vision

"It may have." Amelia said.

"So.....how was the case?" I said, changing the subject.

"Don't look at me, it was the most tragic case I have ever heard." Melody said.

"Really? To me it was good enough to be a made up story." Allen said.

"I'd say it's true. Haven't you guys look directly in their eyes?" Amelia said, she looks so suspicious about everything.

"Can you guys just tell me what happened." I said.

"We'd be glad to but Amelia should be the one to tell you." Eden said.

"No can do, my mind's buffering." she said.

"Okay, I'll tell her." Eden said almost reluctantly. "The Hemmings family was supposed to go to the residence of Josh and Emily Mather, they were going to drop by to give them some gifts-"

"Wait a minute, it happened on Christmas day?!" I exclaimed, shocked.

For me, it's weird to have an accident on Christmas.

"Yep, it did but they never got there." she said.

"Why?" I asked.

"They had a car crash and had comatose, when they recovered they didn't see their child named Ashley and thought that she was dead until mail came this year that said they had their daughter. They suspect that it's Alexander and Samantha Roberts that sent it. They want ransom money." she finished.

"What's the name of your parents?" Amelia asked.

"Samantha and Alexander, why?" I answered.

"Are you saying that her parents are the one who sent the mail?" Allen asked.

"It could be but I'm more inclined to think that they are." Melody said.

"Let's not jump into conclusions." Amelia said.

"There you guys are, I told Stephanie to pick you up, she's at the parking area and tell your mothers that we'll be home late." Uncle Joe said.

"Thanks dad." his daughters and son said.

"Thanks, Uncle Joe." me and Amelia said.

We went out to the parking area and went to a black Cavalier hardtop.

"Hi sis." Amelia said as we board the car.

"We'll drop Ashley to her home and we'll go home, okay?" she said.

"Yeah." We replied.

When I got home, I bid my good byes to them and went in.

"Hi, Claire..................Really?.................." my mother's voice said as she was on the phone, I don't wanna know what they're talking about but I'm pretty sure it's about gossip.

I went up to my room and did my assignments.

After that, I lay down on my bed, thinking about everything that happened today. Then, my eyelids began to close and soon I was asleep.

I heard a screeching of wheels and a crash.

I opened my eyes and saw that it was snowing, weird right?

I look around my surroundings when I saw two cars that are crashed with each other.

I ran to it to see if anybody was hurt.

Then I saw two people, a man and a woman, coming to the car.

When they came, there was a blurry vision of both of their faces, they went to a door of a yellow Nissan Skyline 2000 GT, got a 12 year old girl out of it and then ran off.

Before they went off, I looked at the girl's face but it was blurry like the couple's.

Then I heard a knock on the door.

"Andie? It's time for dinner." Moose said.

I opened my eyes and knew that I was dreaming.

I went out of the room and ate dinner.

The rest of the days passed by well.

It was a weekend and Amelia texted me to go to her home.

I wonder what she wants now 'cause she texted me like 2:06 in the morning but I saw it in like 9 or 7 AM though.

When I saw it I got ready.

I came down and ate breakfast before leaving.

When I got to her home, her mother opened the door.

"Hello, Mrs. Hardy." I said.

"Ashley, you could call me Aunt Nancy. Okay?" she said.

"Okay. Where's Amelia?" I said.

"She's at the back with Eden, Melody and Allen eating Takoyaki." she said.

"Thank you!" I said before heading to the backyard.

I went to the backyard and went to their tree house.

Yes, they have a tree house and it's the most awesome one I ever saw.

I went up and saw them sitting at a table, eating food.

"Hi, Ands." Eden smiled.

"You texted me in 2:06 in the morning just to go here and eat.......um.......what's it called again?" I said.

"It's Takoyaki and it's pretty famous in Japan." Melody said.

"Nope, that's not the cause. We thought of going to the Hemmings residence to gather up some clues and while we're at it, we want you and Luke to fix your relationship." Amelia said.

"You're going to let me date him! (I thought it was funny) " I exclaimed.

"No, that's not what I meant. What I mean is that I want you two to fix your little problem that happened at the agency." she said calmly.

"But before we spring into action. Why don't we finish the Takoyaki and lemonade." Allen said, raising his cup of lemonade.

"Sure, I'll join you guys." I said.
