SANDRA'S POV.

I don't remember the time when I reached my apartment.

Once I was inside my apartment I shut the door behind me I closed my eyes and clutched my pounding heart.

It was a spur of moment but I felt something deep. I know his eyes without speaking confessed the secret of his heart.

I know I never felt like this with anyother the way I feel with him. I almost surrendered to him.

God what will he think about me and what the hell was he thinking anyways.

One moment he was talking the other he kissed me.

I am blushing again just thinking of him.

I locked the door and went inside my bedroom to change.
I slumped onto my bed though I know I am unable to sleep today.

The sweet moments keep lingering on my mind. His hands on my waist. The pull towards him. His lips on mine. His intense gaze. For a moment I felt I found my sanctuary.

I abruptly sat on my bed pull out my sketch pad and pencil from my bedside table. Within seconds his face was again infront of me and I hastily kept the sketch pad inside the drawer.

I scolded my mind to stop thinking of him because I know I don't have time for all being in love and getting lovey dovey.

Tomorrow I have to get a new place to move and start my own boutique.

Thank God I have left the job and I don't have to work under him because it was definitely not going to work anyways. And well I can contact James anytime on his mobile for asking about his wellbeing.

So no face to face again with Lucas.

I rested my head on the pillow again and drifted into sleep.

NEXT MORNING...................

I just got ready and the door bell ring. I knew it's Ema.

I opened the door and she engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Hey S how are you come on we are getting late."

" I am fine Yeah just let me grab my bag and keys."

I locked my door and put the keys inside my cars.

"Em your car or mine?"

"I guess yours as you know the places we will be visiting."

"Ok."

As we were inside the car and on our way to find and finalize theperfect place for my work Ema interrupted the silent drive.

"Umm Sandra did something happened yest5at the party?"

"Why are you asking?"

"You know you told me about James's Son Lucas is the one who is able to arouse the feelings in you, yesterday tou attended the party, and your eyes explain that you have not slept well. So, tell me what happened?"

"You know me so well, I will tell you once we will be finished with property hunting."

"Fine but don't think I am going to leave the topic."

"Yeah yeah" I said drifting my mind to God knows how she will react when I will tell her about the kiss.

After hectic day of looking over properties we finally found the best one. It was even not far from my apartment. I was thinking to buy my own place for the restaurant but for the time being on rent will also do.

Well it's just the beginning of new life.

We did all the paper work. I gave cheque to the owner and an advance rent for the month as well.

"Now it's time to celebrate for your upcoming restaurant."

"Yeah ok so we can have celebratory Lunch my treat so you choose the place Em."

"Just two blocks away there is an Italian restaurant I think we should go there."

"Okayyyy as you wish ma'am."

"Umhmm someone is in a good mood."

"Yeah I am so happy you know finally able to get my own restaurant making my father's dream come true."

"I know I am so happy for you."

We reached the restaurant parked our car and get inside the restaurant.

We took the corner seats that was only available as the place was already packed with people.

We placed our orders.

"Now the details of the last night party you know Sandra I can't wait more to hear anyways."

"Umm ok but you will not interfere while I am explaining."

"Go on I am all ears with finger on my lips."

"Umm well first of all I reached a bit late as everyone was already there but the one for whom the party was arranged he was yet to arrive I mean Lucas. Well I met everyone and joined our Company's staff group and suddenly......"

I stopped as the waiter arrived with our orders.

I took a mouthful of lasagna. "Well I was definitely starving"

Ema just glared at me.

"What?"

"Continue Sandra you know I am dying to know what actually happened."

"Fine but let me eat some first."

I ate some more and continued.

"Ema I had the same feeling umm you know when you can already feel someone's presence. It's same the first time I felt at the club, second at the office and then at the party. It's only when he is around.Ohh Em then he complimented me how beautiful I look and he brought his hands towards me and as we shake hands I felt sparks Ema it was magical. I felt out of control Em and I excused myself and went out to the garden for fresh air and what he did he followed me there and umm and there was no one in the garden and  suddenly he kissed me Em he kissed me and God help me it felt so good. I felt I am home when he held me and what shocked me I equally responded to his kiss and when I realized what I was doing I pushed him and ...." I closed my eyes and said "I ran away from him from everything I felt."

Ema placed her hand over mine and I open my eyes. There was something in her eyes that I was unable to understand.

She said "Stop running away from your feelings Sandra, you know how you feel towards him and he towards you."

"No you don't understand Em I don't want to get hurt you know I put lenses during work and even at the party the one time that I went out without them was at the club."

"May be he also feel the same thae way you fell S"

"I don't know but for now I am aware I have dreams to fulfil and no time for relationships."

"Fine but if its love at first sight from both side it will definitely find it's way towards you."

"Uhmm let's forget it for now. Do you want dessert?"

"No I am already full."

"Fine."

We cleared the bill and went back to my apartment.
