Chapter 9

Tear rolled down my cheek and sleep took over.

I woke up with slight headache. I looked at the wall clock its 11 a.m. I slept just four to five hours. Its Sunday so I have all day to myself.

I pushed myself out of the bed. Picked some fresh clothes from my wardrobe and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get some nice cold shower.

I got out of the bathroom, picked my mobile from the dresser.

"11 missed calls" and "all from Ema"

I called her back as I am aware she is worried about me.

She picked the call on the very first ring.

"What's wrong with you Sandra I was worried sick about you, you
didn't even picked my calls,What happened last night?

"Umm I am fine but can you come to my apartment today any time then I will tell you?"

"Ok I will be over there within half hour and breakfast is on you, make some pancakes."

"Fine just come."

"Ok bye take care and don't worry."

I was flipping my last pancake when I heard the door bell.

"Coming"  I yelled from the kitchen and tossed my last pancake on the plate.

I opened the door and hugged Ema.

"Hey Sandra how are you? Why your eyes are red and puffy? Were you crying?????"

"Come first we will get our tummies filled with pancakes and coffee, I am hungry too"

"Uhmmm why I am having a feeling its something serious"

Ema came behind me in the kitchen. Pushed the bar stool out and sat.

I pour fresh steamy coffee and pancakes inform of her and a mug of coffee for me too.

"Wow just yumm" she commented and dig into the pancakes.

"Now spill while we are eating" she said in serious tone now.

I took a deep breath "I don't know what to say?" I said trailing the tip of my finger on the edges of the mug.

" Ok so start with what happened last night that you got out of my sight as a hurricane and....."

She said while eating but when she said and she stopped and looked directly into my eyes

" and what" I asked.

" And that when you were leaving I saw someone followed you, Do you know him? And he was the reason you left  Right?"

It was a direct question from her.She know me too well.

"Did you saw his face?" I asked before talking further.

"No just his back" she said while sipping her coffee.

" Do you know him?" She inquired again.

"No" I simply said.

I looked at her, she knows when I am in such situation she stays silent,never interrupts let me speak and I said "Remember when I lost my parents in that horrible accident?"

"Yeah"

" And you also remember I hardly had one or two boyfriends no serious relationships right?"

"Yeah"

"I said I have lost the feeling to be loved or love anyone"

"You are wrong S, and you know it, you can be loved and you can love anyone, but you don't want to loose anyone you love the way you lost your parents"
She said while pushing the stool,got stand, grabbed my elbow, making me stand and said "We should sit in the lounge because it's going to be a long deep conversation between both of us"

"I know"

We both sat on the sofa she hugged me from my side.

"Now come to the point"

"Yesterday when we entered the club I had this weird feeling as someone is watching me, it was not creepy or something, but I couldn't ignore it, I looked around but was unable to see anyone. I thought maybe it's just.my Imagination or whatever."

I took a deep breath and continued.

"The whole time I was there I had this feeling.Then when we ordered our drinks I just looked up and out of the blue my eyes connected with the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen in my life and instantly I knew he was the one who was constantly watching me,though due to crowd I only saw his eyes there was concern,depth and Ohhh Ema the look a woman can die for and then when I felt him coming towards me that's when I got scared and ran away. I  felt connection instantly the moment our eyes met like some sparks errupted.
I was frustrated with myself to feel such way towards anyone" tear rolled down my cheek".

The moment I finished talking Ema pulled me into a strong loving embrace.

"Finally the moment S I have waited so long, I am so happy that whoever he was might also be felt the same way as you have,I just pray and hope you both meet again,make someone enter into your heart, It's been six years Sandra you lost your parent's, you can never get them out of your mind, but you should move on. Why running from the feelings and hiding them away when you can also feel them."

"I don't know Em what to do?"

"Do you love me Sandra?"

"Ofcourse what type of a question it is. You know you are the sister that I never had, we grew up together, held each other in good and bad times,your family is second family to me after my parents"

"If you can still love us after your  parents passed away then you will give him a chance whoever it is for me, you just have to open yourself up don't bury your life in your work.I want to see you happy. Just give a try"

"Ok I will try."

And with that emotional atmosphere was turned into a teasing one.

"You know S if you had stated we could have seen his face and today you qould have been on your first romantic date"

"God Em"

And with that our day passed in a blur.

Ema grabbed her bag and keys hugged me  Goodbye and with that she was out of my apartment.
