Tuesday Afternoon
Nishikata's POV
"Hey T-Takagi-San, lets walk home together." I said. The first day of school was over, and it wasn't that hard. I got in trouble a few times since Takagi-San teased me a couple of times. She usually teased me more, but she cut it down today, I don't know why.
"Sure, Nishikata!" said an excited Takagi-San. I felt a little shy, I knew I had feelings for her. It was embarrassing but I couldn't help myself.
"Say, Nishikata, do you have your umbrella?" asked Takagi-San. "Yeah." I said. "Lets use it together, I forgot mine. How silly of me!" exclaimed Takagi-San.
I opened up my umbrella when we went out of the school. To my surprise, it was raining pretty hard.
"Nishikata, its raining pretty hard out there. Should I come to your house? I might have to stay there, the weather is too dangerous to walk to my house. Plus, my house is farther away." said Takagi-San. Wait, did Takagi-San just say that she might sleepover at my house?!
But, I didn't clean my room, or take a shower! AHHHH! Takagi-San will be sleeping over at my house!
"Uh..s-sure Takagi-San.."I mumbled. I was excited, but scared at the same time. My stomach felt weird. "Alright, it's settled then." she said. "Takagi-San, where will you sleep, and w-what will you wear?" I said nervously.
"Well, I'll sleep in your bed with you, and I'll wear your smallest sized clothes." said Takagi-San. "Wait, sleep in my bed? With me?!" I felt happy about this, but also scared.
"If I sleep on the floor, I'll catch a cold. You don't want me to sick, do you?" she said with a voice that was meant to tease me.
"N-No, that's not what I want." I said. If she was going to sleep with me, I better move over so it's not rude to her. "Oh, and Nishikata?" she said. "Y-yes?" I said in a squeaky voice.
"I'll take a shower at your place. I got a little wet from the rain already. While this conversation was happening, we were walking to my house under the same umbrella.
"Nishikata, move under the umbrella a bit more, I'm coming closer too. Are shoulders are getting wet." Takagi-San said.
"Oh, okay..sure." I said. She moved even closer to me, and I moved closer to her.
Our shoulders touched.
I felt like I was going to die from the blood rushing upon my face. Was this, okay? Calm down, Nishikata. This has happened before. It's normal. I told myself. Takagi-San looked particularly happy.
Maybe she wanted to be at my house after all.
We reached my house, and I opened the door with my keys. I saw a note on the kitchen counter. It was from my mom.
Dear Nishikata,
Me and your father will be going on a business trip to Tokyo for 2 days. Take care of the house!

Mom & Dad
