Nishikata's POV

I was walking to school, when suddenly Takagi-San comes out of nowhere. "Hey Nishikata!" she said. "Oh, uh hey Takagi-San. What brings you here?" I said as she got closer to me.

She decided to walk with me. I enjoyed every moment I had with her, even though her teasing would make me rage and turn as red as a tomato. I guess she couldn't help it.

Damn, Takagi-San, I thought. Takagi-San teased me almost non-stop today.

I sighed as she didn't answer me. "Well, why do you think I'm here?" she said. Well, she usually walks to and from school with me. But she didn't come yesterday, and she did come today.

This is really confusing. "Uhm, because you wanted to walk with me to tease me?" I said. I didn't agree to saying that but my mouth was not cooperating with my mind.

"Nope." said Takagi-San. "I came here for a reason you could never guess." I wonder why she is really here. Maybe she wanted to see me? But, why? "Tell me, Takagi-San!" I said.

"Hahahaha! You'll never guess why!" she said. Well, I couldn't expect any more from her. I grumpily groaned as I continued walking to school with her.

In Class

"As you may know class, we are going to be having a field trip to Mount Fuji. This trip will last for 5 days, so you better pack nicely! Please make sure to hand in the permission slip tomorrow before you enter the bus. Get packing!" said Tanabe-sensei.

I was so excited that we were going to Mount Fuji! I know it's meant for educational purposes, but the field trip is going to be awesome!

I packed up my things and left for home with Takagi-San. "Nishikata, are you packing any snacks?" said Takagi-San. He was planning on going to the snack shop right before he went home. "Yeah, I was actually going there now." I said. "Lets go together." she said.

"Ok then, lets go." I said. I wasn't planning on going with her, but she insisted so i did. For once I wasn't nervous around her.

Maybe because I was thinking about all of the different candies I would buy for the trip.

When we entered the store, all I saw was delicious candy. Everywhere. I took my favorite chocolate bars, some soda bottles that were abnormally small, and a few different types of hard candy.

We're going to be there for five days, maybe I should get some more, I thought. It would be smart to get more candies to eat, my friends would gobble them all up.

So, I decided to get some more candy. As I picked up some chocolate chip cookies, I saw Takagi-San with a bag full of goodies. "Wow, you sure got a lot." I said.

She got two times more candy then me! How?! I guess her friends were candy snatchers, too. "Well, I have very naughty friends who always steal my candy. Especially Yukari, Mina, and Sanae." she said. It made sense why the candy stealers were more likely them.

After all, the golden trio was famous for stealing people's Halloween candy. That was very unfortunate. Once they even stole my candy. I don't know how they do it.

"Lets head to our houses to pack." I said. I wouldn't want to be late for the school bus tomorrow, then my chance to go to Mount Fuji would be ruined!

Takagi-San nodded and we bought the candy. We left the store and went our separate ways to our houses. I walked into my house, and said hello to my mom. I showed her the candy I bought and she told me to pack quickly so I can get a good nights sleep.

I went upstairs to my room, and I pulled out a suitcase from my storage cupboard. I started packing my clothes first. I packed 5 shirts, and an extra one for any emergencies. I packed 3 pairs of pants and another extra for emergencies. After that, I put in a small pillow, since I didn't want my suitcase to be filled up with half pillow. I added in a medium weight blanket on top. on the left side there was still some space, so I put two pairs of shoes and some slippers in that area. In the front pocket of the suit case I put a gallon sized ziplock bag filled with all of my candies inside. I packed a backpack with gloves, a scarf, snow pants, my water bottle, and some candy. In the front pocket of the backpack I put some spearmint gum, bandaids, post-its and some pens and pencils.

I don't know if I overpacked or not. If you saw my suitcase for yourself, it wasn't as bad as it sounded. I bet some of my friends will overpack and shove everything into their suitcases. I zipped up the suitcase and rested it against the wall. I hung my backpack on the back of my desk chair, and I got tomorrow's outfit for the bus ready. Tanabe-sensei said the ride would be 4 1/2 hours long, with a bathroom break in between.

I decided to get to sleep.

I had a long day ahead of me.
