Beep! beep!!beep!!!
It was the sound of the mini clock beside the bed
Miranda woke up feeling so tired and lazy to get out of bed, she looked to the direction of the mini clock on the shelf beside her bed.
"Jeeezzzz!! It's 9:02Am!" she said out loud to herself.
"Am to be in work at 8:30Am, God am so late" she shouted.
She rushed to the bathroom took a quick bath, dried her body with her fancy pink towel and used her lotion which made her love her skin so well, cause it was made of honey and had a pleasant smell.
"What was i going to wear today, urgggh i hate it when am this late to work"
She walked quickly to her drawer, took out a dark blue jean and a big black but fitted top to go with the jean, and a black sandals designed with shinning gold stones on it.
She dressed quickly and took her black bag, she went to the mirror to get an assurance of beauty.
"Am so cute, i know, thanks" she said smiling at herself in the mirror.
"Oh no! I forgot to brush my teeth, well i will do that when am back am so late"
"Wait, oh God!, today is monday, we will be having a new manager at work and also having a brief meeting at 9:30am"
She glanced at the wall clock in her room, it's just 15mins past 9.
"I hope i get to work before the meeting starts " she said quietly to herself.
She ran down the stairs from her room heading to work almost knocking down dora.
Miranda Joseph lives with her best friend Adora Lawrence, they rented an apartment with two rooms, Miranda occupied the up floor while Dora ocuppied the down floor.
"Easy girl!" Dora shouted at Miranda
"Sorry dear, am late for work" miranda said giving dora a kiss at her side chick
"You should be punished, lazy ass" Dora chuckled.
"Shut up, love you, bye" Miranda said, running out the door.
