"So who is this guy, you're dating?" Elisa asked, wiping her mouth with a napkin, after eating the chocolate cake she found in the fridge. She was in her bedroom together with Nadia, who was getting ready with this so called 'date'.
"I already told you, his name is Derek. And I didn't just come here to watch you eating cake, you know I can't put on makeup without messing it up." Nadia said approaching Elisa, forcing her to stand on her feet. Elisa let out a cry of surprise, then focused on not falling down.
"I helped you with your outfit, and anyways you look fine, you don't need that much makeup. I bet he'll think you're beautiful just the way you are." Elisa said, and she meant it, but she also said it so she can get Nadia off her trail. Her friend sighed and smiled.
"I guess I'll have to schedule you for a blind date..." Nadia trailed off, looking up and smiling innocently.
"Okay, okay, fine. Sheesh! What do you want me to do?" Elisa finally caved in, she walked towards Nadia, who was already seated on a chair. She played with her hair, before deciding to make a fishtail braid.
"Thanks El, hey, are you still interested in photography?" Nadia asked Elisa after a long moment of silence, then looking at her through the mirror.
"Yeah, I took some photos in the park last week." Elisa said, pointing near the huge mirror. There was a bench, and two kids, both girls, laughing. And a tree near each end of the bench, it made Nadia smile.
"Remember how that was us, and your mom took a picture?" Nadia asked, grabbing a magazine from nearby.
"Yeah, and a day after we kept pulling each others' hair." Elisa laughed out, tying a clip on Nadia's hair after fixing her it.
"Yeah, because I was jealous of you having that bow." Nadia replied, "How can you make a fishtail braid? It looks so hard, thanks though."
"You're welcome, and well, practice makes perfect." Elisa grabbed her make up bag and proceeded to apply make up on Nadia's face.
"This is why you're my best friend." Nadia sighed and closed her eyes. Elisa raised her eyebrows.
"And only because I can put on make up?" She asked in disbelief, but she knew Nadia was joking.
"You know it's so weird, how I wear more make up than you, but I can't put on make up by myself." Nadia said, Elisa hummed in agreement.
'Maybe if I put on more make up, guys will notice me more...' Elisa thought.
"I can do the rest, thank you very much." Nadia stated happily, and applied some lip gloss and mascara.
"Prego." Elisa said, Nadia looked at her, confused. She explained that it's 'You're Welcome' in Italian.
"I always wonder where you learn those." Nadia said and stood up.
"The internet, obviously." Elisa laughed out, Nadia rolled her eyes and thanked her best friend for helping her get ready.
Nadia was about to exit Elisa's room, but stopped suddenly. Elisa took notice of it and asked what was wrong. Nadia turned around, and laughed nervously.
"I just remembered, Derek told me he was bringing a friend. And he asked me to, you know, also bring a friend?" Nadia stated, smiling nervously.
Elisa stopped doing what she was doing and stood up straight. She knew that something like this would happen, just like the last time. But, all those guys were either rude or perverted.
This with be the last time, I ever accept a blind date. Elisa thought.
"Fine, but this will be the last blind date I'm going to accept." Elisa sighed, and Nadia squealed.
"You look fine, just change your outfit to something cute and not ragged." Nadia said, pushing Elisa to her closet. Elisa lazily got a white shirt, black leather jacket, and denim shorts. And some random sneakers.
After changing, she followed Nadia downstairs to the front door. On the way, she saw her brother in the living room.
"Where are you going, Eli?" Eddie asked her, sitting up. Elisa looked at Nadia for help, but all Nadia was doing was look at Eddie with a raised eyebrow.
"We're having a night out." Elisa replied, inching towards the front door.
Eddie nodded."Where?" He asked, this time Nadia answered.
"Uh, to the mall. Where else, and anyways, Eli can take good care of herself." She said, pulling Elisa outside. She shouted a goodbye to her brother before shutting the door.
When they were in the car, Nadia sighed and muttered finally.
"You could have brought Jeremy or Lorenzo. I mean he didn't specify if you could bring a male or a female." Elisa said, realizing it just then.
"Well, yeah. But you were the closest one to me, so I'm bringing you." Nadia said happily, driving forward.
Elisa couldn't help but think that this was all Nadia's doing, in helping her look for a boyfriend. She just smiled, shook her head and turned on the radio.
"Yeah, and anyways, this is Stitches, by... Shawn Mendes."
Elisa's eyes widened, and looked at Nadia who was mouthing the words to the song.
"Oh my Gosh, I'm so proud of him!" She squealed, Nadia laughed then immediately stopped and focused on driving.
Elisa looked around the car for something to read, since Nadia usually brings a lot of magazines in the car.
"You got new magazines." Elisa stated grabbing a random one, and flipped to a page. It was mostly clothes, advertisements, and etc. but as she flipped to another there was a photograph that caught her eye.
It was beautiful, it must have been a nightclub or so, with the dim lights and the DJ. It showed in the background the beach and the sunset at the right time. She scanned the whole page for the one who took the picture.
'Photo taken by: Francisco Lenisto'
She raised her eyebrow at the name, but continued reading.
'An amateur photographer for the number of years he's been training. But a very gifted one at that. This was taken in the Philippines, Mactan Cebu, a very beautiful place.'She never read the rest, and started getting her phone to search about him.
'He's the one.' She thought.

Yep, really boring for now, but good news, a few chapters and it'll be more exciting... At least I hope so.Video to the side Stitches by Shawn Mendes ft. Hailee Steinfeild, is that how you spell it? Yeah, but it's nice, especially Shawn. I want to congratulate him but I don't think he knows me, haha, just some random stalker in the world.
Yeah, next update might be next week, or... in a month? I finally finished this chapter, and I had writer's block, that was why this update took so long. And for my other story, next chapter's almost done. :-)
Until next time, Mademoiselle...s?
