Chapter 3:Runaways and Stowaway

In a small clearing, Jaune is in the middle , his eyes closed and sitting with his legs crossed. It was clear that he was meditating, or trying to anyway as his Aura was blinking unsteadily in his whole body. Ren, Nora and Ruby we're waiting him do it as they sat behind a tree log. Then out of nowhere, a punch is suddenly thrown on Jaune's left cheek, sending him rolling away untill he hits a tree, hard. Jaune just stayed there on the ground, looking at the clear afternoon sky, as he groans in pain. Then, Yuji suddenly found himself in his field of vision, shaking his head of disappointment.

Yuji:"What happened, Jaune? You were supposed to dodge that punch. This is the whole point of why you are meditating in the first place!"

Jaune:"Do I look a freaking psychic to you?!"

Yuji:"Iris can do it."

Jaune:"She can see our Auras."

He just sighed out of annoyance as he responded back.

Yuji:"Fine then. Let me show you how it's done. You throw the punches, while I'll try to meditate."

Jaune you said you done this before, right?"

Yuji:"Of course I did, do you want me to show you?"

Jaune:"Yes!"

As, Yuji settled in the middle of the clearing, and start meditating, his Aura radiating throw his body.

Jaune:"Okay. Here goes."

Jaune throws a hard right towards, Yuji's left cheek, but he just leaned back smoothly and dodge the attack, as though his body responded for him. Jaune kept throwing punches and kick to him, but he just effortlessly dodge them all, while remaining in his place of meditation. Yuji decided to end it, so when he sensed another one of, Jaune's punches he sidestepped, making him stumble and for him to knee him in the stomach. Before he could even react, Yuji quickly followed with a back kick that sent him tumbling away a couple of meters. Ruby and the others watched in awe as, Yuji managed to dodge all of, Jaune's attacks while staying in his spot with his eyes closed.

Just as soon as, Yuji opened his eyes, the Aura surrounding his body disappeared as he ended his meditation. He  chuckled when he saw, Jaune lay on the ground, groaning in pain yet again. Yuji walked over to him, and leaned next to him as he speaks hoarsely.

Jaune:"How...?"

Yuji:"I told you. It was just meditation. Well, there is that, and you would always grunt when you throw a punch, so, yeah. I was able to hear you when you were going to throw them while meditating at the same time. So do you want to go again?"

Jaune just stayed down on the ground, while, Yuji just hold his hand out to him.

After that training, Yuji and team RNJR were able to come across a small River and a waterfall. Knowing it was a good spot to rest, they decided to make camp. Yuji is sitting on a large rock, as he watched Ren, Nora, and Jaune clean up, with, Ruby gathering wood for the fireplace.

Yuji slowly unsheathed his Weapon from his back, and stared it. The colors reminded him of his old team, wondering how his life would've been if he stand against, Cinder when she arrived at Beacon, which cause his wolf ears to lay flat. Ruby saw him looking gloomy and soon notice why when he was sadly staring at his Katana. Ruby walked towards him, and place a hand on his shoulder. Yuji tensed for a moment, but he soon calmed down when he saw it was, Ruby.

Yuji:"Hey, Ruby. Sorry if I'm looking a bit down right now. I... I just miss my team. Alex, Sara, Iris. I really miss them."

Ruby:"I know, I miss, Weiss and the others too."
