Rose's POV

I wake up to the smell of pancakes and coffee.
I get up and walk into the kitchen and see Ms. Lin washing dishes. There's a plate of food on the counter.

"Eat Miss." she says smiling.

"Just call me Rose, Ms. Lin." I smile and sit down. She smiles and nods.

"Where's Alessan-" My phone ringing cuts me off.

"Hello?"

"Hey amore. I'm sorry I left without telling you. There was an emergency. Call me if you need anything and let me know if you go out."

"Okay, are you coming back today?"

"Yes. I'll be back around nine."

"Okay. Byeeee!"

"Bye mi amore." he says chuckling.

I watch TV for most of the day and play with Luci. I get bored then realize I still have a "girls night" to attend so I start getting ready. We're most likely going to a party so something cute but comfortable i guess.

I shower and get some of the clothes one of Alessandro's men brought from my apartment.

I put on a short skirt, but not va j j town short of course, a cropped top, black sneakers, and an oversized denim jacket.

Mai texts me the address and I meet her there. And of course, it's a party.

I'm at the stupid party with a half drunk Mai who's been partying like there's no tomorrow. I check the time, it's 9:45pm, kinda late.

Then I remember...

"Shit! Alessandro said let him know if I go out... I should call him."

"No! Girls night remember? No guys involved!" Mai says, kinda slurring.

"But there's guys here tho..."

"You know what I mean! Now come on! Drink, party, talk with people!"

"Fine." I get up, get a water bottle, and stand in a corner.

I watch a few guys argue over sports and glance over to a group of girls. They're gossiping like this is highschool. I roll my eyes and look at the TV.
There's a group watching Rick & Morty, which is odd because we're at a college party, but I join them. I like this show more than I like people.

A few minutes later two girls get into and argument and they were told to take it outside. People trail out to watch. I walk to the window and look outside. They start fighting and I see Mai recording and I laugh a bit.

I step away from them and sit back on the couch, continuing to watching Rick & Morty.

Soon the fight between the two girls is over and one lost a wig making everyone laugh.

People go back to drinking and talking and listening to music.

The Rick & Morty episode ends and I get up. I walk to the kitchen and get a drink.
I stand on the wall because I don't really feel like sitting with people and some dude comes over to me. I sigh and make small talk, hinting throughout the conversation that I don't want to talk to him. He's obviously drunk and I don't want to deal with a drunk college kid who is way taller than me considering I'm 5'1. He said his name was Adam... I told him "I'm Rose" and try to get away. He starts to flirt with me but gets a little too close and I push him away. He gets offended by this and tries pulling me to a room but the front door bursts open.
