Chapter 8

* Lukes POV *

Lucy got let out the hospital 3 days ago. We haven't really talked about the 'I love you's ' We were now on the sofa at her house cuddling. Unfortunately, Calum, my roommate is here also waiting for Holly. Lucy has gotten better. She has a few bruises here and there but really she still looks as amazing as when I first saw her.

"Oi, dumbass! Wanna play FIFA!" Lucy asked.

" You play FIFA?" I asked.

"Yeah, and I gunna kick yo ass" I chuckled and set up the game.
Halfway through the game and I'm winning 5-2. Suddenly Lucy kicked me causing Lucy and Calum to laugh and me hit the floor with a thump. I pretended to be unconscious by staying still and quiet.

"Luke! Oh my god Lukey. Wake up. I-I'm so sorry" Lucy said shacking my body. I chuckled and rolled over so she was under me. Without thinking I smashed my lips to hers. It's felt so perfect. She then after a moment started kissing back. She wrapped her arms around my neck deepening the kiss.

"Erm guys. I'm still here" Calum said uncomfortably. Me and Lucy pulled away from each other. She blushed and I lent forward and whispered in her ear.

"You're such a quiet little penguin when you blush" she giggle and I rolled of her. We stood up and I whispered in her ear again.

" I love penguins. Which means I love you" she turned round and looked into my eyes. Her beautiful eyes filling with tears.

"What's wrong?" I asked pulling her into a hug. She put her head on my chest sniffling.

"N-no one has ever loved me before. Only used me like D-David" she sobbed.

"Shhhh. It okay I'm hear I love you. I won't let anyone hurt you I will protect you." I said squeezing her tightly. I looked up to see Calum has gone and sigh in relief. It was kind of creepy with Calum just watching. But he has gone, so it's fine now.

"I love you too. Since the moment I fell onto of you." She giggle. God, I love her giggle.

" When I first saw you surfing I had a special connection. I love you so much. Please go out with me tomorrow night 8:00 o'clock its overnight so bring clothes and bikini or bathing suit, what ever they are called. Please come with me" I asked.

"Did you just ask me out" she asked.

"Yes" I replied

"Yes I will go on a date with you." She smiled and I pulled her Into a hug. I can't wait.
