Minty is an engineer who loves to tinker with broken robots that Sonic and Co smashed up, whilst Xander was a robotosized hedgehog that used to work for Robotnik.
(This is a little backstory on the two lol) One day Minty went to the aftermath of Sonic and Robotnik's battle, Robotnik fled after Sonic destroyed the badniks. Minty saw a robotosized hand in the bushes and walked over to it.
Minty grabbed the hand and pulled the robot out of the bushes and inspects the robot, she comes to the conclusion of him being a hedgehog due to the quills. Xander's eyes flicker on and he looks up at Minty scanning her.
Minty drags him to her home into her small workspace and starts to to tinker with him "Now that I am fixing you up, you won't try to hurt anyone! And that's a good thing!" Minty finishes and Xander's eye turn blue.
After that they started to hang out and become very good friends, Minty gives him upgrades on his coding every now and then so his software gets hacked.
They're close friends and they hang out a lot, talking about what to do in the future. Maybe they want to go on adventures with Sonic and friends.
