Wingless Flight (Tsukishima fanfic :) )

/your POV/ 

I woke up to a soft grumble and my second oldest brother patting my head softly. my (h/c) locks falling to the sides of my head as a sluggishly stood up. feeling dizzy afterward due to my tendency to stand up to fast. I quickly changed into the uniform of mine, combing my hair to sit on my shoulders well before putting it half up half down.

 my oldest brother, Kurisu, and my other older brother Kera smiled as you left the front door. mom had already gone to work, she was called in early due to an emergency. I walked my way to school. focusing on the ground as I tucked a strand behind my ear and giggled as I thought of the night before. thinking of the kind stranger who helped me so easily. even when he was hurting. I walked faster. hoping to see the young male once again. he said he was a first-year. so he would still be in a couple of my classes.

/third POV/

you walked happily into your math class. now scanning your room and then you saw him. he was the blonde from before. his joking smile you last saw gone as he had his headphones tucked over his ears and he was doing a worksheet already. you looked to the desk and saw your favorite sub sitting there. she smiled and beckoned you over. 

"wow! ms. (l/n) you are super chipper today, have you met a boy?" she teased. the nice young sub was always looking for a boy for you.she'd been very mother like to you ever since she caught you falling asleep in class. always making sure you got enough sleep any time she saw you and giving you candy for being quiet in class. you felt flustered all of a sudden.

"Uhm- well yes? kind of.." you mumbled the last part. she leaned forward on the desk." oo is he in here? I'll let you sit by him today if you promise to not chicken out on me" she wiggled her eyebrows. making you giggle and cover your mouth softly. a couple of other boys turned your way. intrigued by your sudden laughter. you nudged towards Tsukishima." I don't know his name yet... well yeah hold on.." you mouthed softly. searching through last night's memories like files."Tsuki..shima. Tsuki-" 

"Kei Tsukishima" 

she cut you off." he's a first-year here. volleyball boy.got your eyes on the tall ones hmm?" she looked over to the tall blonde. who had look your way in a bit of a shocked expression? her bright blue eyes lit up."oo he's staring (y/n) you should go say hi" she ushered you off. making you turn to face the blonde-headed boy. his face now returned to a resting bitch type glare. you felt like you'd done something wrong. quietly you shuffled over after he looked back down at his paper. his headphones now off his ears.

"Uhm hi, I-" 

"you are in a lot of my classes. yes, you can sit next to me" he pointed to the seat next to him. your spine shivered.

throughout the class, he didn't talk unless called on. but with your sub, you didn't have much to do. you tried talking to him but he often shut you out. only giving you short small replies when he knew he was being stared at. but as soon as everyone looked away he talked to you. you passed a note back and forth getting to know each other better. few words passed back and forth due to some of the other boys leaning into your conversation. picking on you for apparently having a huge crush on Tsukishima now.he would ignore them and wave them off. 

you guys had this happen in every class you had each other in. other than actually having to do your work you guys passed a single note. getting to know the blonde better. you also met a good friend of his at lunch and break. Yamaguchi was nice. a bit shyer then you thought Tsuki could handle. I mean he would get pissed every once in a while, Yamaguchi said it was just Tsuki's personality. when you didn't have a class with either one of them your mind trailed off. but Tsuki seemed to stick to your focus, he had an unwilling control over it for some unknown reason...
