y/n is a clever girl with a unique ability and her brother Daizi had been keeping her out of his work life because it revolved around death. That was until he joined the Detective Agency that is, although he was still keeping her away. After all, it was a dangerous job as well. Unbeknownst him y/n had already known about his job and the dangers but she was enjoyed leaving her comfort zone for some danger.

My 18th birthday has just passed, and I'm an independent woman. I don't need Daizi taking care of me anymore. So today is the day I ask him for a job so then maybe I can buy a car.. an apartment, and even a NEW phone considering he is always buying me cheap flip-phones.
Daizi said he would be home around 5;30pm but its already 6:00pm and I'm starting to think he actually had a successful suicide attempt.. if thats true I hope he had life insurance. Ya girl needs money.
"Y/NNNNNNN" Daizi screamed while slamming open the door. "I BROUGHT ICE CREAM" Jesus.. he has been bringing cartons of ice cream home so much lately..
"Daizi, I need to ask you something" I said sternly. "Sure, shoot." "I want to get a job" Daizi just stood there thinking. "Sure! Although I get to pick your job!" he said a bit too enthusiastically for my liking. "WHAT?!" if he were to choose my jobs would that even make me an independent woman? I knew he was overprotective but does he really have to choose my job? Thats a bit much.. Daizi continued saying "You have two options, you can put your ability or whatever to use at the local grocery store down the street OR you can work with me at the ADA." I have the most awful choices ever. 1. be paid minimum wage at a cramped store or 2. Be forced to spend every second with my overprotective brother.. I'm starting to regret not going to college.
"Well y/n, whats your answer?" Daizi stated rather calmly like he had already knew the answer.
I knew all about the ADA. They were strong so I doubt I would be put in serious danger, so I thought.
