READER POV:
I guess I must have blacked out because all I remember is the immense pain of bullets going through my torso and waking up in this hospital looking room. Although I had no injuries or even scars from the incident and I'm wondering if it even happened. I heard talking from outside the room I was in so I went out to hear what they were talking about. When I went out I heard them talking about my completely reckless decision that I made. They were mostly proud of me sacrificing my life for Genichiro. Everyone except some guy in a brown hat he was just sitting at his desk.. which was in the middle of the room so I guess he is important. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Daizi tell me I was accepted into the ADA. A wave of relief had flown through me. Yasano came up to me asking if I was alright and I said I was fine and conversed with the other members for a while noticing I've talked to everyone except the guy with the brown hat and decided I would go talk to him and ask his name.
When I finally walked up to I figured he was asleep because he had his eyes closed with his legs on his desk in a relaxed way so I just decided to talk to him another time.
Kunikida showed me where my desk would be and it was next to the guy that was sleeping although Daizi was quick to protest only to get kicked by me because I was very, very, annoyed by his behavior.
I told everyone I was gonna go to the grocery store and buy lots of snacks which made the sleeping boy jump up and forced me to bring him along. "Why can't you go yourself?" I asked while we were on our way and he responded by saying "I might get lost." I wondered how someone could get lost on a simple trip, and its like he could tell what I was thinking because he said "You might wonder how I, the greatest detective could get lost but I don't care much for useless knowledge." After that we walked in silence.
