CHAPTER EIGHTEEN "q&a"
They were laying down outside on her balcony. Looking up at the sky, talking about random stuff.
She laughed, "So you basically want a pet tiger?"
"Yeah, That would be cool" He laughed along with her.
"Wanna pull a Joe Exotic huh?" She said in sarcastic manner.
"You can be the Carol Baskin to my Joe Exotic" He joked.
"Uh do you know-"
He cut her off, "Yes i do LeBlanc, i was joking"
She chuckled, "You're sense of humour is trash" She said playfully.
"Says you" He teased her back.
She nudged him still looking up at the sky, Not knowing that he was indeed looking at her.
After about a minute of silence, She let out a breath "When do you think you've made it in life?" She said, turning to look him while her hands rested on her stomach.
As she turned to look at him, he looked away to look at the sky. He smiled, "I don't know. I want meet the love of my life, start a family, grow old together..be successful?" He took a breath, "I just want to be happy." He finished and looked back at her.
His eyes meeting her's, "Love of you're life huh?" She asked. Their voices were low and soft almost like whispers.
He grinned, "Yeah," He breathed out. "Do you believe in love?"
She looked back up at the sky and sighed, "I've never been loved." She answered. "Or ever even been in love so," She paused. "I don't know." She whispered.
Johnny thought for a moment. He really wanted kiss her then and tell her 'i love you' but it was too soon. He wasn't gonna tell her those three words when he didn't mean it. It wasn't time. Maybe soon, but not just yet.
If he was gonna tell her he wanted it to be from his heart. He wanted it to be truthful and meaningful. Plus, He knew that she wanted it to be that way too.
Johnny's hand slowly reached for hers, "One day." He whispered.
She smiled genuinely, "One day." Annie repeated as she put her hand on top of his. "I-i need to tell you something.." She said, her smile dropping and her voice trailing off as she reached the end of the sentence.
"Go on," He encouraged. "You know you can tell me anything"
"Yesterday night when you came and i told you i couldn't sleep because i was thinking of Caleb.." She said.
