I pull up in front of Scott's house, I see Lydia's car and Stiles' jeep on the driveway. I walk up to the door and open it it with the key I still had from when I lived in my house down the street. I walk in to see everyone surrounding the table looking down at an old book covered in sand and dirt. Scott is the first to look up and see me.

"Y/N!" He says with a huge grin on his face as he came up to hug me. "Oh my god, you got stronger." He squeaks out because I was squeezing him so tightly. I giggle and mumble an apology. Lydia then came up to me and wrapped me in a warm, comforting hug.

"I missed you Y/N."

"Lyds, we spoke everyday." I say into her ear.

"Yeah, but did we hug everyday? No? Didn't think so." She sasses.

I hug Malia, Kira, Liam and Mason, starting the conversation of "How have you been?", the most basic small talk ever. "Where's Stiles?" I ask just as I feel an arm spin me around and swallow me into a strong, safe hug. "Nevermind, found him." I managed to whisper.

"I missed you so much Y/N, like seriously you have no idea. I would have spoke to you more but everything was so hectic cause I've helping my Dad down at the station and-" I cut off his rambling with a kiss, we sunk into it like it was something we had been craving for years. His hands cupped my cheeks while my hands snaked around his neck. I pulled away and rested my forehead on his, "I missed you too Stiles." He leaned in and kissed you gently.

"Sorry to break up this beautiful moment, but can we get to the thing that I actually called Y/N for?" Scott asked in a sincere but serious tone. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the table with Stiles hand in hand.

"So this book is really important and someone known as La Vibora, wants it." Scott started to explain.

"The Viper?" I asked. Everyone nodded, "What do you know?"

"Nothing, that's why need you." Lydia started to elaborate. "You're kind of like our profiler, before you left you would build profiles on everything we went up against. Like when the Nogitsune showed up you basically became a human encyclopedia about Japanese folklore, the concentration camps-"

Kira interrupted, "You knew about my mom before I did, you knew what I was before I did."

"Exactly."

I started to rack my brain about Mexican lore, "Well, I can tell it's a woman already because of the feminine ending to her title," They all looked at me like I was crazy, "Come on guys think, 'La Loba', it's feminine 'cause it was talking about a woman, Kate. Therefore whoever you're looking for is a woman. I'm guessing she turns into some snake like creature, have you seen her or fought her?"

Stiles looked up from the book towards me, "Yeah, Scott and Malia fought her a bit, why?"

"What did she look like?"

Malia started to describe what she remembered, "Her skin was grey and she had black scales, her eyes were black and green. We couldn't tell she was a woman though she had no hair and no uh.. feminine features. we just kept hearing her hiss and her tail was extremely strong. Knocked Scott over twice and me three times. Her fangs were long at slightly curved at the end."

"Okay, she sounds like a rattlesnake. They're fangs are hollow because the venom from the glands at the back of the upper jaw. Her venom can be extremely dangerous depending on how much she injects large amounts are more difficult to get rid of but there is an antidote that we can make if anyone gets bitten. But if she injects more than three units of it two things could happen: you could die or.. you could become one." I took a deep breath after rambling so much about this woman. "If you do get bitten she could use it to track you, it's called prey relocalization, it's how viperidae catch they're prey so if someone does get bit they need to get rid of it as soon as possible."

"How do we do that?" Scott asked while looking at me with concern.

"You make the antidote, it's made with rose oil, hemp root, small amount of mistletoe, calcium carbonate and boiling water." I started to explain but was interrupted by Lydia.

"That seems easy enough, right?"

"Yeah but the hard part is probably the most important ingredient which is her venom. Most anti-venoms contain the venom of the snake that actually bit you."

"So where are we gonna get rattlesnake venom?"

"I know someone who stays on the other side of town, she's a retired herpetologist." I paused because everyone looked at me confused, again. "She used to keep snakes to study them, no doubt she still has a few of them. If not she has thousands of samples locked in her office. I'll text her let her know we need some, bring it to Deaton and he'll supply us with the other things we need." Everyone looked at me impressed, I'd only been back ten minutes and I already knew more about La Vibora then they did in two weeks.

"Told you we needed her," Scott said.

I smiled and Stiles caught my eye, he was gazing into my eyes in amazement. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly again.

"God, I love you." He whispered in my ear. I look up and lean in to kiss him,

"I love you too Stiles, I'm so glad to be back. Not only are we gonna take this bitch down but I have you by my side while we do."

"You always will, I knew we needed you more than anyone else." I smiled at his words. "Plus that was impressive, since when did you figure all that stuff out about snakes?"

"Chinese astrology, mythology and herpetology babe, it's that simple." I giggled.

"If that's what is simple to you, I really don't wanna know what's difficult." He chuckled, he leaned in to kiss me again but we got interrupted by my phone ringing. I roll my eyes and answer it,

"Oh hey Ruby,

do you have the stuff?"

"Okay great,

Pick it up in twenty,

Yeah thanks, bye."

"Guys she has some, I'm gonna head over there with Stiles. Meet us at the animal clinic." I toss my keys to Mason, "Mason, you and Liam take my car there for me would you?"

"Yeah, no problem." He nodded.

I thanked them and Stiles took my hand and opened the door to his jeep for me. Oh, how I missed this shitty car.

"Since when did you get so confident?" Stiles asked.

I looked at him and sighed. "Well when I was here before, I was helpful with the logical side of everything. I realized I didn't want to be on the sidelines so I started some combat training and over time it just built I guess."

"Well I like it," he said with a smile. "Do you think you could do some combat stuff with me? I'm kinda fed up with being on the bench too with the fighting thing." I nodded and leaned over and kissed his soft, pink lips again.

"Of course."
