1st Month
Damn, the first month was bad, utterly bad. All that training made me feel like my body was put into a grinder. But yeah, it was all about strength, so can't complain much. I felt myself becoming stronger by the end of it, so, it was worth it. After all, no pain, no gain.
2nd Month
The second month completely wrecked my legs. All those sprints, jumps and all that completely broke them, but hey, I completely destroyed my previous running record. And who knows, this speed might help me survive one day.
3rd Month
The third month wasn't that bad compared to the first two, but it was bad in it's own charming way. Training my flexibility was more difficult than training my strength or speed. Goddamn it, I can still feel the phantom pain from all those cramps. Well, unpredictability never hurt anyone now, did it?
4th, 5th and 6th Month
The next three months were a repeat of the first three, except I didn't collapse after finishing. MY body was now almost used to the strenuous exercise I put it through. Now, in the last months, the only thing left to train was my quirk.
7th and 8th Month
The last two months were good, very good. I was able to complete Kimimaro's diary in these months and damn, I had grown leaps and bounds in using my quirk efficiently. I still don't have as much efficiency as Kimimaro, but that's not a problem. He was much more of a mid-long range battler whereas I like to get up and close with my enemies. I still focused a bit on bone formation in order to have an ace up my sleeve and not be completely helpless against an enemy I can't fight in close quarters. Now, I could do a very weak version of Bracken Dance, Kimimaro's signature move. And I had mastered both Willow Dance and Deutzia, his close range moves. You might think that I am copying him and that's true, for now. I have some ideas for original moves. Might use them in the Entrance Exam. Oh yeah, I have a spar with Bakugou in half an hour. Gotta get ready for it.
A week before the Exam
We meet in the Takoba Municipal Beach at dawn for our spar. It's going to be a no-holds barred spar. We weren't worried about the injuries since they would mostly likely be all healed up in the week before the exam. Bakugou might look bored to an outsider but I know he's excited. Hell, even I can feel the intensity in the air rising up. A feral grin comes up my face just when a wave crashed against the beach, starting the spar.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bakugou blasts himself towards me at a fast rate. He leads off with a explosion enhanced right hook which I quickly duck. I feel the heat of the punch as it passes my head, making me feel thankful for knowing his battle strategies. His over extension gives me the perfect opportunity to spin and slam my forearm blades into his torso.
Slam!!
Damn it! He was able to divert the hit to his arms. Giving me a smirk, he blasts backwards, putting a good amount of distance between us. We glare at each other for a few moments before rushing at each other, this time with me leading with an uppercut. He evades to the side but realizes too late that it was a diversion and I clip him in the side. Giving an snarl worthy of a beast, he retreats and shifts to the hit-and-run tactic. He blasts off the sand to try and cover his movements. A few tense moments pass, with me waiting for any sign for him to show himself. Suddenly, I hear a swoosh behind me. I turn around in hopes of Deutzia'ing the heck out of him, but I don't see anybody.
