(Joey Smith's POV)
After almost an hour of mirror encounter, I ended up wearing my signature Ariana Grande hairstyle and a denim sundress. Not bad for a newbie's first day in school. I'm just worrying Miggy might not recognize me with this kind of look. I just let out a smile everytime I remember how I look like back when we were in high school, back when we were still together. Tssss enough of drama please. I used to be the most conservative girl in class, but a lot has changed after that breakup. Thinking that he left me for another girl.
I'm already on my second year in Advertising degree and I'm thankful that Malaya University allowed me to continue my course there without retaking any subjects. Now I'm ready for a new campus and a new life. I left one last wink on the mirror before leaving.
"That dress looks so familiar that I could confidently say it's mine," that's Mom. She never lets me out without saying comments. "Mom, I just love your taste in fashion, that's it." I smiled at her. I love wearing her clothes. My mom has a good fashion sense and I'm lucky for having a mother who's as skinny as her daughter. I even wear her shoes sometimes. "Fine. You're lucky enough to have a fab mom," she brags. "Unlucky enough to meet new dads every year," I mocked her. "Okay. Touche, touche. Go ahead or you'll be late for your first day. I love you." "I love you mom!"
I love my mom so much and I love how healthy our relationship is even without a father. She's a single mom and I grew up with only the two of us. I've been introduced to different boyfriends so many times, but until now, she hasn't found the one yet. Same here, haven't moved on from my Miggy yet. Tssss... women.
