*Takas POV*

I couldn't help but think about how sweet Mondo was when he helped me in little space after school compared to how he acted in school. It was like seeing the hot bad boys soft side.

Did I just call Mondo hot??

No, that can't be we're friends and just that, he's not at all hot, except for his perfectly toned body, beautiful eyes, and weird yet I oh so want to touch it pompadour.

Mondo IS HOT

I could feel all the blood in my body rush to my face as I realized that I thought my best friend is hot. I mean I shouldn't deny it, that would be lying, and lying is against the rules!

While I was caught up in my thoughts though I didn't even see the man I'd been thinking about when he ran right into me.

CRASH!

"Mondo how many times must I tell you running in the halls in against the rules!"

"Sorry bro I was in a hurry, and because of YOUR birthday no less!"

I froze, nobody had ever remembered my birthday before, I could feel tears welling up in my eyes as I smiled like an idiot.

"Bro are you ok? You're not gonna get me to not celebrate if that's what you're thinking!"

"No, it's just..." I said between sniffles "nobodies ever remembered my birthday before, I mean my dad does sometimes, but I've never had friends remember."

"Wait... your father forgets your birthday sometimes?! Bro, we gotta throw you a party!"

Suddenly I saw a familiar brightly colored underclassman round the corner.

"Did Ibuki hear party! When's it happening, where's it happening, and do I need to bring anything??"

"Well, we can't have it at my house, my dad forgot again I don't want him to feel bad," I said honestly.

"We can have it at Ibukis house, my parents won't be home until next week!" Ibuki said excitedly.

"You're fine having Taka's birthday party at your place Ibuki?" Mondo Said

"Ooh, a birthday party! This is gonna be fun!"

"Ye and Taka's never had a birthday party before so this has to be big!"

"Oh, this is gonna have to be even bigger! Mondo, we're leaving school now to set everything up at Ibukis house!" Ibuki said practically pulling Mondo away.

I couldn't believe it, I was gonna have my first birthday party and no parents were gonna be there! I'd only ever heard of parties with no parents but this time I wasn't only invited to a no parents party, I was gonna be the main event! I was so excited I could barely hear Ibuki as she was screaming throughout the halls that she was gonna have a party at her place for my birthday.

The school day had finally ended and I was putting on some of I only casual clothes, I only have 2 casual outfits, when I'm not wearing them I'm in uniform, but today was a special occasion, my very first party, nonetheless very first birthday party!

Mondo left school early just to set up for me, and he texted earlier saying he'd drive me there on his motorcycle, I was quite scared of it but I didn't have any other way of getting there so I hastily made my way to the front of the school to wait for Mondo, who was a bit late, but that was expected he apologized profusely but I understood and just sat on the bike behind him.
