MORAL OF THE STORY IS SO GOOD, OH MY GODDDD PLEASE LISTEN WHILE READING THIS.
-He immediately called me afterward. "Journey, why haven't you been answering me? Are you okay? What happened? What's your fault? Are you-" He rambled. "Harry, I'm... I have a question." I asked. "I just asked you at least 5, answer one first." He exchanged. "I'll tell you what happened. I have--had a best friend named Sabrina. She has these other friends named Dani and Vanessa, who used to bully us. After the interviewer asked about you and I, Sabrina wanted to show our friendship off like a trophy to Vanessa and Dani and I didn't like that so lied and said I wasn't home. Sabrina came over anyway and got mad and said that uhm..."
"What'd she say?" Harry asked. "She said fame had gotten to my head and I was selfish. I--Harry, is that true? I don't think I changed." I stared at the drink in my hand. "No! No, not at all. I didn't know you before you were on James's show, but you haven't changed at all, I promise." He comforted. My stomach rumbled a bit and I chose to ignore it. "When was the last time you ate?"
"I had a few apple slices this morning," I told him. "Meet me in the cafe, no excuses. You're going to take care of yourself, Journey." He told me. I sighed and he hung up. I groaned and rolled out of bed, then walked to my closet and grabbed an outfit to change into.
Outfit, makeup, hygiene, yep I'm ready to go. I grabbed my phone and car keys and left. I really didn't feel like leaving my house but did it for Harry anyway. We met in the parking lot. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. Guilt pinged my chest. "Harry, I'm so sorry I shouldn't have ignored you," I whispered, wanting to cry a bit. "Shh, darling, it's alright. C'mon, let's go eat, yeah?" He placed his hand on my back and guided me inside.
After ordering, we sat down. "When was the last time you had a proper meal?" He asked me. "About two days ago..." I mumbled. "We'll eat now then. I want you to take care of yourself, alright? You need to keep a good eating schedule and stop overworking yourself." He frowned. I nodded. "I've been friends with Sabrina for a long time. I don't want to lose her but I don't want to be a trophy on display for her to show off." I confessed. "I get it. I do. You have to take a stand to her and tell her this and if she doesn't respect that, is it really worth it?"
I thought for a moment. "I want to make her happy. I don't like feeling this way. I feel like I betrayed her." I sighed. "You didn't betray anyone, okay? Look at me." He said. I looked up at him and he grabbed both of my hands. "She betrayed you, Journey. Not the other way around."
She did, didn't she? I could feel myself overthinking why and what I did wrong. Harry squeezed my hands lightly. "If she can't support you or treat you with all of the loyalty she has to give, maybe it isn't worth it. She can't see the girl I see in front of me and it makes me feel bad for her. You're so so kind, Journey. You are not selfish."
I was about to speak but the lady placed our food and drinks down. He let go of my hands and pulled them back and I did the same.

Harry and I now walked down the street. There was a small sidewalk with just enough space for the two of us and on the other side of the road was a railing to block off pedestrians from the beach. We walked across the street and looked at the ocean. "It's so peaceful there." I sighed. "Yeah, it really is." He smiled. His phone began ringing and he groaned but answered. Shortly after, he hung up. "I have to go...are we still on for Tuesday?" He asked. I nodded. "Great. I'll see you then." Harry placed a kiss on my forehead, making my heart flutter.
"Take care, Harry. I'll see you Tuesday."
