Speedy's POV
Star leaves and it's only me and Glace, I put down my controller and stretch. Glace puts down her controller and stretches as well, I yawn and rub my eyes and see that she giggles a bit. I look over to her and tilt my head,
"What's so funny?" I smile and chuckle a bit
"N-Nothing! I was just thinking about something." She giggled a bit more afterward and smiled back at me, "Wanna watch a movie..?" I can hear a bit of hesitation in her voice.
"Sure! Make yourself at home!" I stand up and look at her,"Would you like some popcorn?"
"Heck yeah! What's a movie without any popcorn?" She smiles at me.
"Well, your not wrong there!" I walk into the dark kitchen With my only light source being the TV's Screen. I know I had just moved here but, they already have everything ready for me! They even got me popcorn and food for the whole week! I grab a big bowl and pull a bag of microwaveable popcorn and throw that thing in the microwave and hit the popcorn setting, I press start and look at the TV Screen. Glace turns around looks at me confused,
"Uh, what movie do you wanna watch?" She says in a confused tone, I look at her and think to myself for a good 5 seconds
"Anything." I said in a careless tone.
"Ok... How about a horror movie?" She said in a happy tone.
"Oh, uhm... Sure....?" I knew I screwed up, I shouldn't have said anything.
A beep can be heard from the microwave and I open it up, I grab the popcorn bag and can hear a little sizzling sound coming from the bag. I open it up and the whole bag explodes! I yell and lose my balance and slip and fall.
Glace's POV
I hear a big boom and Speedy yell, I hear a big Thump afterward and I stand up and quickly run to the kitchen to see Speedy on the ground looking at all the popcorn that was scattered all over the floor,"Holy Crap! What was that?!" He yells as he gets up confused. He shakes his head and his whole body and popcorn falls out of his fur and onto the floor, I giggle a bit and he looks at me and smiles a bit,"A-Are you laughing at me?" He says in a happy and confused tone. My giggle dies down and Speedy stands up,"Great, we have no popcorn and we have a big mess OF popcorn on the floor!"
"If you want, I can help you clean it up..?" I said hesitantly
"No no, that would just be rude... just make some more popcorn while i clean this up."He responds in a frustrated tone.
"Alright." I grab another bag of microwavable popcorn and throw it into the microwave and choose the popcorn option, amazingly Speedy is already done cleaning the popcorn up and he grabs a big bowl from the cabinets from above, he looks at microwave and waits for it to finish. I decide to break the silence and start some small talk," So uh, why did you decide to move here?"
His ears perk up, "Oh, I was just in a isolated tiny house so I came to a populated town." he said in a kind of worried tone
I began to wonder and responded,"Why were you in a isolated place by yourself?"
He stayed silent and the microwave started beeping, he opens the microwave's door and quickly grab the bag of popcorn and pours it into the bowl, he lets out a sigh of relief, "good thing it didnt explode!" I can tell hes trying to change the topic, What is he trying to hide?
