The "Rookie"

Glace's POV

The whistle blows and I sit at the front seats of the arena, Speedy and Zeke stand there while the whole crowd cheers them on. I'm not sure but, I have a bad feeling about this... Speedy might actually pose a challenge to Zeke. Tension grows and the crowd slowly goes silent, the whole arena is silent, and Speedy and Zeke are just standing there looking at each other, what the hell do they plan to do? I can see that Speedy is nervous, because of the sweat dripping down his face, All of a sudden Zeke charges an energy ball and throws it onto the ground, causing the battlefield to be showered in the dust, out of the corner of my eye I see Zeke dash behind Speedy and he throws a punch, hitting Speedy right in the face and he delivers a kick to his chest as well, Speedy gets thrown to the middle of the battlefield and the whole crowd goes wild and everyone is cheering on for Zeke.

He dashes at Speedy again and throws a couple more punches at Speedy but, He somehow blocks every punch and grabs the final punch. He then gets a hold of his arm and throws Zeke over him and slams him to the ground, he then starts spinning and throws Zeke across the battlefield, Zeke quickly gets up and Speedy quickly dashes behind him in an instant, and Zeke is quickly overwhelmed.  Speedy is landing punches left and right, and he charges a yellow energy ball in his paw, pushes it against Zeke, and blasts it out of his paw taking Zeke with it. Dust surrounds the whole battlefield and the crowd is in awe, Zeke can be seen on his knees and coughing out blood, I can see Speedy smirking, "Well, I guess Star wasn't wrong." Zeke gets up and they both just give each other a dirty look, The air becomes thin and dust starts to circle Zeke, His whole body glows and slowly becomes brighter and brighter, the whole crowd covers their eyes and a massive gust of wind whirls up in the whole arena, Speedy keeps his guard up and looks worried now, The glow slowly fades away and reveals Zeke standing with a dark yellow glowing aura his fur in his paw turned white. The whole crowd is in awe.

Zeke, within an instant, dashes towards Speedy, punching him in the stomach and releasing a fury of punches and kicks at him, Speedy jumps back and shoots a pin missile towards Zeke, Dust fills the air and it soon clears, Zeke dashes from the dust and at Speed again, Speedy dashes towards him and they both throw a punch at each other, both of them colliding with each other. The force field protecting the crowd shadders within seconds and a massive gust of wind hits the crowd and Speedy and Zeke both start to release a barrage of punches and kicks, all of them colliding with each other except some hitting Speedy, He gets punched in the face once, twice, Speedy now turns on the defensive and starts to block and grab all the punches, he knees Zeke in the stomach, grabs his arms and swings him around, he throws him on the other side of the arena, Speedy then yells and a giant bust of energy, way bigger than Zeke blows the roof off of the arena and his energy suddenly explodes blinding the crowd while dust fills the air. A Stressed aura can be felt, it isn't the most pleasant feeling... The dust clears and a weird red aura surrounds Speedy, and dust circles Speedy. Zeke grins,"So you know how to transform as well... Interesting." Speedy then vanishes and Zeke looked around himself, keeping his guard up, Speedy then appeared and landed multiple hits on Zeke before they both started to match each others punches, and they all collided. A tiny shockwave can be felt, they both dash back, both of them panting heavily but, Speedy gets on his knees and his aura starts to pulse and fade away, What the hell is happening?

Star's POV

I knew this would happen, ugh. God damn it Speedy, why do you have to be such an idiot?! We can only hope for the best; Speedy gets back up and glares right at Zeke. his aura turns a dark shade of red, Speedy dashes in front of Zeke, ducks, and lands a massive blow on Zeke's stomach. Speedy grabs a hold on Zeke's head with one hand and pushes it onto the ground, he kicks him aside and dashes back, Zeke gets back up and they both trade punches, Looks like Speedy is making a final stand before the effect of his form take over, one after another Speedy is landing consecutive punches on Zeke. Zeke drops to the ground and Speedy stands across the battlefield tired, all of a sudden a loud... CRACK Speedy drops down one the ground and his aura disappears, Zeke looks at Speedy confused. The Referee walks over to Speedy and sees that he is out cold, "Uh... CAPTAIN ZEKE WINS!" Nothing but silent, everyone is probably wondering what the hell happened. Looks like Speedy couldn't finish the job in time, now to get this idiot to a hospital.

3 Hours Later.

Glace's POV

I look at Speedy in the hospital bed, all covered in bandages and cast. I look over to Star,

"Hey Star...?" I look at her worried.

"Yeah?"

"Why did Speedy just collapse all of a sudden? He seemed fine when he was battling with Zeke."

"It's the form he used, it multiplies his power, but as a result if he overuses it, the form rejects his tired and weak body and causes a lot of harm to him, and this isn't the first time this has happened, trust me." She responds.

"But he'll be ok, right?"

"Yeah... since when were you so worried about Speedy?"

I begin to feel my blood start to warm up and look at her with a nervous face, "N-No reason."

"Ooooo~ Is that a blush I see..?" My face begins to slowly turn redder and redder.

"Shut the hell up! Just wanted to know if he was gonna be ok..."

"Ehhh, Don't worry! Speedy will be alright. or so, I think." She thinks.

Speedy begins to move a bit and his eyes slowly open, "Speedy!" He opens his mouth to try to talk, but he coughs and puts his hand on his chest. "Speedy can't talk right now, he has 3 broken ribs." I look at him and smile. his eyes are a beautiful shade of purple, although most Jolteons have blue or green sometimes. I feel really warm and nice when ever I'm around him, He looks at me and smiles back. "Try not to move lot Speedy." a faint voice can be hear, "got it..." Speedy responds.

yo! wassup guys, sorry i haven't been posting. been really busy with school and i now got a chance to write a bit! and i managed to finish, I've been taking classes to make my writing skills better and i feel like I've improved from my first chapter! don't worry guys, by the time you are reading this i am already writing the next chapter, ain't that wacky? lol anyways, Speedster and his gang are back in town baby!
