POV:Hope.

With me being the only one having a boat licenses, I'm the one in charge. I love sailing with our boat, reminds me of the old times, it makes me feel so free, like I can escape every single problem I have at home.

We're all in our bikini's, having dropped our sundress's somewhere inside the little sleep cabin, hoping for a good tan and enjoying the wind going trough our hair. We're on full speet now, the thing I love the most about living here in Miami is that we live almost next to the beach and the dolphins here in the ocean will swim next to you and try to keep up with your speet, it's adorable and beautiful, it's calming. It reminds me of mum and the story's the used to tell me... she loved the ocean and everything in it. It almost looked like she had a special connection with it, something unusual...

Where I feel like we are far enough from the beach and our problems, I let go of the gas and slowly let down the anchor. Lisa lays our towels out on the front of the boat, so we can get a good tan while playing a little game of truth or dare or just gossip. Avery grabs us some drinks, In the mean time I let down the little  ladder so we can easily go in and out of the water. When everything is settled we lay down and drink our drinks and enjoy the hot sun burning on our skin.

After 6 or so rounds of truth or dare and catching up on the latest gossips around town we all jump into the water, the temperature is amazing and we all float around for I think an hour.

As I'm coming up again from a deep dive I see that the sky isn't bright blue anymore, it got clouded over within seconds...

"I swear just seconds ago there was sun, right?"  LiLi said.

"Yeah, how the hell did it get so dark and cloudy all of a sudden?!" I replied.

"Ohmy- girls we have to get out of the water! Look over there." Avv said, while pointing to the sky above Miami Beach, miles and miles away from us.

"A thunderstorm? But how? it's supposed to be sunny Every Day, All Dayy!" Lisa replied.

"No time to be disappointed LiLi, we have to get in the boat Now!!" I said

We climbed in the boat just when the wind started coming up more, I shivered. We dried of and LiLi looked for our dresses, Avv threw all the trash in one trash bag and I brought in the anchor. I started the boat and right at that moment I saw the lightning hit something on the beach, from our point of view it looked like the cocktailbar, I really hope I'm wrong though, but the smoke is telling me different.

"Holy- you saw that?" Avv asked.

"Yes." both me and LiLi replied at the same time.

"We have to go back like, Noww!!" Avv yelled.

"I don't think we'll make it back without crossing that storm, we are the only ones on the water right now and the storm is right above the marena, coming our way, that'll mean if the lightning goes down, we are the only high point." I said.

"Then what do you suggest we do little miss 'let's go on the boat' this whole bloody boat trip was you idea!!" Avery screamed at me.

"I don't know, and would you stop screaming at me! It's not my fault we are in this situation! You could've checked the weather app just as good a I could have done!" I talked back.

"You asked us to come to this trip, which means you are responsible for this!! You should've checked everything you idiot!" Avery screamed louder now.

"Don't you f*king blame me you-"

"Shut Up you two, Shut Up." Lisa yelled at us at the top of her lungs. "Look over there." she pointed to something.

Avv and me both looked at Lisa, a little overwhelmed and surprised, she never raises her voice. She looks back at us and rolls her eyes, then points in that direction again.
