Chapter 10

POV:Hope.

The girls and I jump in the boat, we pull in the ropes and we're off. I'm going full speed towards the island, Luana Island. When I'm home later tonight I need to look up some stuff too. I wanna know it's history, maybe check out mums office some more then....

We arrive at the same place as last time, only this time I throw out an anchor. We leave the boat and Avv starts running, probably from nerves, Lisa and I follow her on her heels.

We slow down when we're getting closer to the cave, I look around to check if there's nobody here and then took off my backpack.

"So, who's first?" Lisa anxiously asks.

"I brought a ladder, help me fasten it please." I said opening my backpack, and pulling out a ladder made of rope and wood. Not that safe, but better than falling down and getting strange wounds that disappear our of nowhere.

"Great thinking H." Avv said, taking a hold on the other side, while Lisa let it slide down. Avv and I make sure it won't come falling down while we use it and Lisa already throws my backpack down.

To my surprise, Lisa goes down first. We wait till she calls that it's our turn, and I let Avv go. Lastly I'm going down the ladder.

"You gonna let the ladder stay there?" Avv asks me.

"You think this will be the last time we come here?" I respond.

"So, You're fully with us now? Because I wanna know everything, I'm not stopping here." Lisa asked me making sure I wasn't going to back out.

"This island can be connected to my mum, maybe I'll find out a whole other side of her, finish what she stared? Follow in her footsteps even?" I answer.

"Okay then, we're gonna do this and we won't stop till we have the answers we need." Avv said.

We walk trough the small gab and enter the cave. I put my backpack on the ground and kneel down beside it. While I'm taking out everything, Avv and Lisa are inspecting the wall.

"Look, this is my mums necklace, and this is the one I found. I also have the photo's of her tattoo here." I said standing up and walking to the wall, pointing at the drawings and then at the items in my hand.

"So there has to be one more right?" Lisa ask no one on particulier.

"I think so yeah, I mean it would only make sense right." I replied.

"Can I take a look at the necklace's, please?" Avv asks me.

"Yeah, of course." I replied giving her the necklace's.

She takes it from me and looks all around them, then she looks at the wall. Tracing her fingers over the out lines of the drawings.

"Look, that little button on the drawing, this necklace has it too, so if I press this." She said pressing on the button. "It has to open." And it indeed opened.

"You're a Genius!" I said kissing her cheek, I took one necklace out of her hands and saw a picture on the inside, it's my mum with two other woman. All three of them are leaning on rocks, here in this pool?

"Okay, that's right here, in this pool. That's definitely your mum. And I've seen that other woman, on the right, walking around at the beach a couple of times actually." Lisa said.

"Yeah, you're right." I said right after closing the second necklace, it has the same picture in it.

"let's compare this whirlpool to the tattoo and then get out of here. It's still light out, maybe if we're lucky we can still see this woman today." I offer.
