Eight.

Izzie's POV
RING RING RING! I woke up to the sound of Casey's alarm on her phone. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. 9:30 am. I reached over to her nightstand and grabbed her phone. I turned the alarm of and set it back down. I looked down and saw her cuddled up to me. 'Awwww' I thought and smiled. She then pulled me closer to her. 'Ahhhh! This is so fucking adorableeee' I thought and I tried so hard not to move and to stay in this moment. She yawned and then opened her eyes. "Hey you" I said smiling down at her. "Hey...have you been watching me sleep?" She asked with a laugh. "Maybee" I admitted, laughing along with her. "Weirdo" she said getting up. "Nooo why did you get up? I was enjoying that" I pouted. She smiled then sighed. "The things I do for you, Iz" she rolled her eyes and laid back down in the same position we were just in. "Yes!" I whispered. She chuckled, "You are such a dork" she giggled as she snuggled up closer to me. There was a knock at the door. "Come in!" Casey shouted. Sam came in and just stood there. "What do you want, doofus?" She asked as I smacked the back of her head. "Ow!" She yelped. "What's up Sam?" I asked him. "I'm moving in with Zahid" he said abruptly. "What?!" Casey jumped off the bed and stood up. "Yeah. We are going to look for an apartment today. Okay, bye" he said, but before he could walk out the door Casey grabbed his arm. He turned around and looked at her. "You're-you're leaving me?" She asked him. "I'm leaving the house, not you." He said with confusion. She pulled him in for a hug. He just stood there awkwardly. She pulled away and put a hand on his shoulder. "Why are you crying?" He asked her. "What? I'm-I'm not crying!" She lied as she wiped a stray tear away. "Yes you are I just saw a tear" he told her. She punched him in the shoulder, hard. "Ow!" He said, rubbing his arm. "Go, loser" she smiled. He then walked off. She hesitated before she shut the door. She walked over to the bed and sat on it, criss-crossed, and looked down at her hands. I sat up and looked at her, "Are you okay, Newt?" I asked with concern. She nodded, but I saw a few tears roll down her face. "Come here" I told her as I put my back to the headboard. She then crawled over to me and leaned her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her and rubbed it. "I can't believe he's actually leaving" she cried. "I know, but he'll be okay" I told her. "I just-it's gonna be weird. I mean- I won't be able to protect him anymore and I'm just worried. But at the same time I'm happy for him" she sobbed. "Hey look at me" I demanded. She looked at me with a tear stained face and red eyes. "He will be fine, okay? Plus, he's a grown ass man now, he needs this" I explain. She smiled at me, "I really love you, Iz" she confessed. I grinned, "I love you too, Newton, so, so much" I gushed. "So what are we gonna do today?" I asked her, running my fingers through her short hair. "You wanna go on a run?" She suggested. "Yeah sure" I smiled as we got up. We changed into running shorts and hoodies. "You ready?" I asked her. "Yep" she confirmed as we put on our running shoes and walked out the door. We started running down the street. We ran and we saw Evan in the distance getting out of his car. Once we reached him he waved at us. We then walked up to him, "Hey Evan" Casey said, I just smiled. "Hey guys, morning run?" He asked. "Yup" She confirmed. "That's cool. How have you guys been?" He asked genuinely. She looked at me, "We've been good, how about you?" She asked him. "Actually, I've been great!" He expressed. "That's awesome! I'm happy for you man!" She exclaimed. "Thanks Case!" He said. He then turned to me. "Hey Izzie, how have you been?" He asked. I smiled at him. "I've been really good, thanks for asking" I answered. "Wow now that I'm over everything that happened I have now noticed how good you guys are together!" He laughed. "Well, thank you" Casey laughed along with him. "Well, I should get inside, Beth is probably wondering where I am" he said. "Okay, it was nice talking to you Evan" Casey told him. "You too, have a good night guys" he said walking away and into his house. She looked at me and I smiled. "He really is a good guy" I admitted. "Oh no. Do I have competition?" She joked. "Oh hell no, Newton. Boys are icky" I laughed as I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Agreed" She said. She leant down and kissed me softly. I pulled away and ran. "Come on Newton! At least try to keep up!" I shouted. She soon caught up to me. "You're a dick sometimes" She joked, laughing. "I know" I winked at her. She rolled my eyes and we kept running.

We finally ran into her driveway. We both stopped and I put both hands on my knees. "Phew, I'm about to pass out" I laughed. We both walked inside and up to her room. I looked at the time, 12:36pm. "I'm gonna go get a shower" she told me. I smiled, "I'll join you" she smiled as we both went into the bathroom.

About 15 minutes later we both got out and got dressed. I was wearing sweats and a red crop top. I then looked over to see Casey wearing nothing but shorts and a sports bra, which shows off her toned stomach. I bit my lip and she noticed me staring. She laughed and got into bed, she then pulled the covers over her stomach. I rolled my eyes and scoffed, "Rude" I murmured. She laughed, and then removed the covers from her waist and up. I smiled and walked over to her. I straddled her waist and she grabbed onto my hips. "Whatcha doin?" She asked, laughing. I ran my hand down to her stomach and outlined her toned abs. "Oh nothing" I smiled as I leaned down and kissed her.  I pulled away and looked down at her. She was rubbing her hands up and down my sides and that sent a shiver down my spine. "I love you" I told her. "I love you too, Iz" she confessed. I then laid down on top of her and snuggled my head into her neck. "You wanna take a nap?" She asked me. I nodded my head and she wrapped her arms around me and pulled the covers over us. "I love you, Casey Gardner" I confessed. She laughed, "I love you too, Izzie Johnson"
