°•°[THE PARK'S MANSION]°•°
Being pretty far away, he needed to go by car to the Park's manson. He parked his car somewhere secluded, mentally preparing himself for anything that could happen.
After he climbed up the huge brick wall, jumping on the other side, he arrived into the back yard of the Park's mansion. He squinted his eyes in the dark, turining his head around, till he spotted the small graveyard for the deceased members of the family.
It's crazy. You should really stop. Don't do it! You don't even know if it's about him!
He ignored his reasoning, following his gut feeling.
But who else could it be?
He stood before his tombstone, trembling slightly. It was around midnight, and the weather was very foggy and cold. The moon shone upon him, and he felt a little better, at least someone was watching over him.
He started digging.
He was already sweating when he finally heard a broken sound, which meant he hit the coffin.
He cleared up the place a little, to have full access to the casket.
Right in front of him, a few meters down, stood a hell of a stilish coffin.
Just then it hit him, what he was about to do. What if... He was wrong? He shouldn't have trusted a coded message from an unknown person.
With shaky hands, he opened the lid. It was pretty heavy.
Startled, he jumped back, muffling a scream, when he saw a man in front of him.
Oh Fuck, fuck, this is bad. Really bad. I've just unburied a dead human!
He didn't really want to, but he had to glance again at the coffin. He came there for a reason.
In front of him, even barely visible because of the dark, he could distinguish a figure laying down. He took the lantern from the backpack he brought with him, pointing it down. But the problem was...
Down there was a ''human'' only because you couldn't quite call it a corpse. With pink rosy cheecks, red lips and bright ashy hair, stood what seemed to be Park Jimin.
He's dead for better than three years. His whole body should've decompose.
Not only that the man didn't decompose, he didn't even look dead.
"What the hell..." Namjoon mumbled.
He was petrified. What logical explanation was for this?Trying to avid thinking "What if he jumps on me and kills me?" he reached towards the body.
He inspected it, as creeply as it was. Not only that he didn't have any kind of wound around his head, ge could now see that his chest wasn't stabbed either.
He grabbed the dead's hand. At least it's cold, he thought. It felt... oddly smooth. Is it even actual skin?
He inspected the man's face. He looked too real, too alive, but there was nothing that could keep a corpse is such a perfect state for so long.
Then, Namjoon had a strange idea.
If on the outside he was human, what about the inside?
(The following part might be disturbing for some people, but I assure you it's nothing too bad.)
Letting out a breathly sigh, fearing what he was about to do, he grabbed one of the dead's fingers, pushing it backwards. He hept pushing, until the finger popped off with an unusual sound.
Namjoon looked at the cut off finger in his hand.
This is most definitely not flesh, luckly.
But what is it?What if...
Namjoon searched in his backpack, only to bring out an small rectangular red thing. A lighter.
He lit it up, putting the finger next to the flame.
Close after, the finger started to melt.
...Did they know? He asked himself, turning his head towards the mansion.
Did they know that instead of their son and brother, they buried a wax figure?
Some of the little paragraphs he read about the family's dynamics came back to him.
"The father was cold and distant."
Mr. Park wouldn't approach his son, not even for one last farewell."The mother loved her children a lot."
Heartbroken, Ms. Park couldn't imagine her son deceased, let alone see his face, touch his cold skin."The sister cared a lot for her brother."
Bullshit. Jihyo wasn't affected. After all, she planned this.No one knew the body was a wax figure.
But the crucial question was...
Where was Park Jimin's corpse?
And...
Who was the man who send the letters?
