Chapter 3: Mending Bridges

I listen as All Might begins to explain his quirk to Izuku and asks him to be his successor. I smile, he's finally going to achieve his dream.

I wake up the next morning, and frown "I have to go out to lunch with Bakugou..-" I shake the thought from my head and get dressed in a medium length, velvet red dress, it's simple, the sleeves are flared and there is a plain black belt around the waist. It's nice, but it's not something I would wear out to a formal event. I slip on my black strapped hills and brush my hair, leaving it down.

I go into the living room and plop down onto the couch next to Hitoshi, "Why are you dressed up Hoshi? Are you going on a date or something?" My lips curl into a frown, "Unfortunately, yes." He looks at me, "You don't sound too excited." I turn and lay my head on his chest, "It's with Bakugou." I groan, "I'd rather stay here." "Wait-- you have a date with Bakugou?!" I huff, "He said he was going to buy me lunch-" Hitoshi gently pushes me off him, "I'm going with you." I smile slightly, "Fine with me, this way it won't be a date."

We hear the doorbell ring, and we get up to answer it. "Oh... Hey Bakugou..-" he grunts, "You don't look as terrible as I expected, but you still aren't pretty." I force myself to smile, "Thanks *I guess...* and I'm bringing Hitoshi." The ash blond growls, "Whatever. Just pick a place and let's get this over with." I grin, "Oh I know exactly where we're going!"

On our way to the place I turn to Bakugou, "Hey, Kaccha- I mean Bakugou." He glares at me, "What?!" I rub the back of my neck sheepishly, "Why did you want to buy me lunch?" The boy shoves his hands in his pocket and scowls. "Because- I'm just trying to be nicer alright?!" I raise an eyebrow, "But why?" He glares "I want to fix things." I go to ask another question but he shoots an icy glare that makes me flinch. We spend the rest of the walk in silence.

Once we get to the cat cafe I smile as Bakugou starts to complain "Why the hell are we here?! I hate this plac-" I cut him off, "Ah Ah Ah, you're trying to be nicer, remember?" He then mutters a string of curses as we walk inside. Hitoshi instantly heads over and begins playing with the cats, and I sit on the floor with a very angry Bakugou.

A small kitten with tortoiseshell fur and big emerald green eyes walks over and nuzzles its head against Bakugou's knee, "Why the hell is it doing that? Does he think he's better than me?!" I giggle, "that just mean he likes you! C'mon rub his head!" The ash blond hesitantly pats the kitten on the head, the kitten purrs loudly, "Is it going to attack me?!" A smile grows on my face as I inch closer and pick up the small creature. "No, he's happy, cats do that when they like something. Geeze it's like you've never had a pet before-" I rub noses with the kitten and gently kiss his his ears. "Awe! You're so cute! I'm gonna name you..- Cookie!" I set the cat back down and look at Bakugou who's oddly quiet. "I've just thought of the best idea ever!!" I pick up another kitten, "Hey, Bakugou!" He glares at me, "What?!" I quickly place the cat on his head and grin as I snap a picture. "THE HELL?! FUCKING DELETE THAT!!" I smile, "Nope! It's too cute to delete, the 'All Mighty Katsuki Bakugou' is actually a big softie!" I quickly upload the picture to my cloud and turn off my phone.

"I'll kill you!" I giggle, "Psh! Yeah right!" I look over to my brother and smile, he's holding a black and white kitten and playing with an orange tabby. "This actually isn't too bad." We go sit down and order our drinks.

"So, is the 'great and powerful Katsuki Bakugou' to be my friend?" He glares at me, "WHAT?! hell no! I don't have time to be friends with extras!" I roll my eyes, "God, he's so full of himself." I sip my french vanilla macchiato,  "So... Hate me so much?" He growls. "You were a quirkless loser and then all of a sudden you had a quirk this year?! There's obviously something up." I look away, "I've always had a quirk, I just never used it." He looks up from his black coffee, "And why the hell did you shave your head in 6th grade?!" I clench my fists. "That's none of your business Bakugou." I hear him grunt. Fall into a coughing fit, which is something I haven't had in years. "Shit..." I mutter quietly, "the hell's wrong with you Saitei?" Hitoshi runs over to me, "Damn it... Mom's gonna be pissed, if you have a relapse- I smile, "Relapse? What are you on drugs?" I shake my head, "No, and I'm fine Hito.. it's just a cough..- " Hitoshi helps me up, "Sorry Bakugou but I need to go." He glares at me, "Whatever."

When we get home Hitoshi and I sit on the couch, I lay my head on his chest and fall asleep listening to the synchronized beating of our hearts. They say twins have a special connection, something supernatural of sorts. I don't think it's supernatural, I think the reason twins have that special connection is because they've always been by each other's sides, in the womb and out of it, in school, and at home. Sometimes something bad happenes to one and the other knows something is wrong, even if they aren't there. That's like Hitoshi and I, we have a special connection, and I'll be there to watch him become a hero, I'll always be by his side and vise versa. Twins are special, they share something no one else has, a true understanding of each other. You could know someone for a lifetime and still not be able to understand them. Hitoshi and I are the only people who will ever truly understand the other. When I sick he was there every step of the way, and when people started bullying him after he got his quirk, even though I was quirkless at the time I was there to defend him. He's my other half, the part of me that I couldn't live without. If I lost him, or he lost me, the other would always be in complete. It's not just Hoshi or just Hitoshi, it will always be Hitoshi and Hoshi.

Hey guys! So in case that last part sounded a little like Shinso x OC it wasn't! It was just Hoshi speaking from the heart, about how Hitoshi knows her more than anyone, and how they aren't just one or the other, it's that their two halves of a whole. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! It was kind of a filler I guess? But anyways UwU baii!!!
