i was getting ready to take a shower when i heard this song come on...for some reason it reminded me of you and i had to take a moment to let the words sink in. there was one particular part in the song that really got me thinking though.
"girlfriend or girl that's a friend ?"
this particular line had made me realize that that's exactly what was going through my mind. i didn't know whether you saw me as a potential girlfriend or a girl that's just a friend. you always seemed to make it look like we were more and you let my mind and heart believe that to be true and as i continued to listen to the words i kept paying close attention to how much they really made me think about us, if you could even consider what we had an 'us'. you said that we were just friends but if we're just friends then why did it feel like something else?
