With each step I took the judgemtal words became louder and louder. I began to walk more and more quickly tring to get away, but it almost felt like they were following me. I ran into my partner, Sarah, and mines office and slammbed the door behind me, but I could still hear there faint words. These people were supposed to be my co-workers and yet they treat me like everyone else, like im worthless.
I looked out the window between Sarah's and mines desks to think of how . It was cloudy with the sun barley showing. I could feel the heat from the outside radiating from the large window. I turned around when the door opened to my partner in the FBI Sarah.
I looked out the window to the left of my desk feeling the heat radiating from it. I pushed my chair from my desk into the middle of the relitivly large room and pushed , with me still sitting in it, to the door. I pushed the back of my chair into the door, which was about tqo and a half meters from my desk, pressing it as hard as I could. I could hear the insulting words spoken about me from my co-workers through the wall
I could hear the footsteps outside my office coming closer and closer. The closer they came the quieter the insulting words about me from my co-workers became. Suddenly, the footsteps stopped and my co-workers went almost silent. When I saw that my door nob had begun turning, I sat up straight in my chair. I looked up to the door from my desk, which was about two meters way. Suddenly, The door flung opened and I was realived to see it was my partner sarah. She looked at me with a look of anger written all over her face. She slowly walked closer and closer to my desk as she starred at me in the eyes and it felt like she was starring into my soul. When she arrived at my desk, she slammbed down a case file I knew all to well.
"Director Neal gave us this case last month and we have yet to find a lead," She said still glaring at me with anger and frusteration.
"Well, yeah. It's kinda hard to find a lead with almost no evidence. Even the evidence we do have leads to dead ends. This is bullshit and you know it. He gave us this case to sabotage me. Honestly, I'm so fed up, I should just quit there's no poi—" I said, turning to avoid her gaze.
"Quit?" She interrupted, "Kellton you're the best detective I know, this stupid case shouldn't ruin your whole career. We can do it, we just need to re-examine the evidence. There has to be something." She put her hand on my shoulder. I ripped it off hastily.
"It's no use. There's no point and everyone says I'm insane anyway. I'm so tired of it all," kellton said, throwing the case file on the floor. The pictures scattered all over the wooden floor. I looked at the mess i had made. Everything I touch is destroyed. However as I studied the evidence, I noticed something... odd.
