it was midnight, finally the time that mingyu favoured, where the boys awakened their spree.
the two really made a name for themselves. the police and news realised that the masked killer no longer was working alone and had an accomplice. they, of course, warned everyone to keep extra precautions. mingyu loved seeing everyone fear for their lives, it made him feel powerful.
"can we go noooow ?" mingyu put his arms around wonwoo's neck and whined. he wanted to see the sight of blood already.
"okay, we can."
mingyu smiled and got up from wonwoo's lap. he ran to his duffel bag, to get the knife that he used to pierce into people.
wonwoo got his own knife and mask, putting it on. mingyu thought he looked hot, as always.
"you look so fucking hot." mingyu cupped his face and licked his lips.
"save it for later, baby." wonwoo chuckled
mingyu blushed at the pet name and removed his hands. wonwoo took his hand and squeezed it.
"ready for another night of fun ?" wonwoo whispered into mingyu's ear. mingyu nodded as wonwoo slightly cut mingyu's neck, which made mingyu asked wonwoo for more. wonwoo told him that after they finished their spree, he would perhaps give him more. mingyu smiled.
they walked out of the house, hand in hand. looking out for their next victim and trying to be as quiet as possible, since someone could see them and notify the police.
"let's sneak into a house nearby." mingyu suggested. wonwoo nodded and started walking as mingyu followed.
it wasn't long until they reached a house. they sneaked in through an unlocked door, the owner probably forgot to lock the door. how stupid.
they closed the door quietly, locking it. they walked up the stairs, as quiet as possible, trying to not wake up their next prey.
once they reached up the top step, they were met with various doors. wonwoo counted 6 in total, he signaled to the other killer that he would take half and mingyu would take the other.
mingyu walked to the first door, opening it and being greeted with a bathroom. he closed it, with a frown on his face, no victim. he opened the second door and found a heterosexual couple, sleeping on a shared bed. they looked to be in their mid thirties. mingyu explored the room first. he checked their closet, finding a police uniform.
oh, so one of them is an officer? this should be fun. mingyu thought to himself.
he heard a grunt from the man and immediately hid himself in the closet, taking caution.
it was just a false alarm, mingyu sighed in relief and proceeded in his plan. he walked out of the closet quietly and closed it. he walked over to the man, assuming he was the officer. if he killed the woman, he would hear and it would cause him to contact authorities and pull a gun on gyu.
he held his knife right above his chest, the sharp end facing the next prey's chest.
he put his hand on the victim's mouth, making the male flutter his eyes open. mingyu immediately stabbed him and smiled. before stabbing him a couple more times and finally killing him. the look in his face screamed psychotic.
he went to the other side of the bed and saw the woman still sleeping peacefully. he put his hand on her mouth, she woke up immediately and grabbed mingyu's arm, twisting it. mingyu smiled and groaned.
"aren't you a feisty one ?" he giggled. she shook her husband, trying to wake him up, but realised that he was dead. she got up from the bed, mingyu ran towards her, trying to kill her.
she threw a few things towards him, it only made mingyu more agitated and determined to kill her. she found her husband's gun and pointed it at mingyu, her hands shaking.
mingyu laughed. "why don't you do it ? i did kill your husband after all. c'mon, shoot me."
she squeezed the trigger before releasing it. no bullet came out. she realised that there was no bullets in the gun. "fuck."
she ran towards her night stand, looking for the bullets of the gun. she tried to put in bullets quickly, but before she did, another person held her from the back and stabbed her in the back, the other end of the knife coming out from her stomach. they released the woman and she fell on the ground. mingyu looked to see who the person was and it was his partner in crime, wonwoo.
he smiled and ran over to wonwoo, hugging him. "you know i could've handled her myself."
wonwoo chuckled and smiled. "i heard noises coming from here, so i thought i would stop it before their kids woke up."
"more prey ?! goodie !!" mingyu said, enthusiastically. wonwoo chuckled again and took him to the kids' rooms.
