It was dark. Gerard brought his arm up to his face to read his watch. 9:00 p.m. Gerard sighed and looked over to Frank. He had his arms propped behind him and he was looking up at the stars. His expression was soft and content.

"Hey, Frankie, why don't we go watch some movies in my room?" Gerard poked him in the arm. Frank shrugged and got up, holding out his hand to help Gerard up. Frank's touch lingered on Gerard's skin. He thought it was stupid. He thought he shouldn't think of things like that. How Frank could touch him in any way and Gerard would fill with butterflies. He thought it was just a stupid crush, you know. That it would just go away. He wasn't good at pushing away feelings like Frank could.

The two made it to Gerard's room. It was red with posters plastered everywhere. It was familiar to Frank, as he'd been in there multiple times over the years.

Frank and Gerard sat next to each other on his bed. Gerard put on Rocky Horror and they sat watching contently. When Time Warp came on, however, Frank bounced out of bed and grabbed Gerard's hand. They danced and laughed together during the whole song. Gerard's mind was going insane. They usually danced to Time Warp together, but he felt weird. He felt like his stomach was going to literally eat itself.

He'd wondered what Frank was thinking.

Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit. Frank was trying to push everything back. It didn't budge. The only thing clouding his mind was Gerard's really kissable lips and his hands that were intertwined with his.

Then the front door opened.

"Gerard, honey? We're home." Gerard's mother called from the living room.

"Uh-uh-Okay, mom!" Gerard called back. Footsteps followed to the door. It was too late for Frank to leave through the window. She wouldn't mind, right? The tv was turned off by now and Gerard and Frank stood next to each other stiffly.

There was a knock at the door, and then it opened.

"Hey, G- Oh. Hi, Frank?" She looked at the two of them suspiciously. "When did you get here?"

"I-uh-I came here after school. My parents aren't home for the night, so I figured..." Frank trailed off.

"It's no problem, really. We got home late so at least you're here with Gerard." Gerard's mom sighed and began to close the door. "You can sleep over if you want. I don't mind." She said before finally closing the door.

Frank looked back at Gerard and smiled. Gerard rubbed the back of his neck and wore a sloppy grin on his face. Frank sighed and returned to 'his' side of the bed. Gerard walked over to the tv again, hitting the button. Time Warp blasted through the speakers.

"Why did we have it up so loud?" Gerard frantically tried to turn down the tv. Frank sat there giggling at Gerard's struggles. As Gerard fiddled with the volume, there was a knock at the door.

"I heard Rocky Horror?" Mikey walked through the door with a bowl of popcorn in his hand.

"You may watch it with us, but only if you share." Frank made grabby hands towards the bowl in Mikey's hands. He sighed heavily and moved the bowl towards Frank slowly.

The rest of the night was spent watching horror films. By this time Mikey had already sleepily trudged himself to his bedroom. There was a vampire movie Frank wasn't having the best time with. There were few specific scenes where Frank would jump and bury his face in Gerard's arm.

"What are you scared about? It's not like vampires are real." Frank punched him in the arm. "Vampires can't hurt you, Frank."

"In my defense, they were jumpscares."

"Yeah, really bad ones." Frank flipped him off with a grin. The movie eventually was over and it was around three in the morning. Frank yawned and curled into a ball of blankets. Before Gerard could ask if he was asleep, he already heard snoring.

"Goodnight, Frank."
