San's P.O.V.
I break from his hold and walk to the kitchen/other side of the room. I wanted a drink. I looked into the fridge to see barely anything but I found one of my Naked drinks in here. I took it and opened it.
I sat on a stool, leaning against the island and sipping my drink. I look over to everyone stunned about how I didn't care at all about the date.
I don't know what they were expecting, honestly. There isn't a spark no more because I buried those feelings when he slept with Val. Plus, did they really think ima be at his feet because he asked me to go on some pity date? I'm not that patient to still be waiting on him. I gave up on that.
"What? Y'all expecting something?" I asked so the silence could stop.
"Well I mean. We thought you'd say yes since he left Val." Mar said. I chuckled at that. I laugh that things that shouldn't be funny. It's to just release the insanity that fills me when people act dumb. It's funny when people think shit is all peaches and sunshine. Stupid.
"So? He left Val on his own account. Not for me. Plus I could care less. He cares about me now because no one's throwing themselves at him. The feeling's dead playboi." I deadpanned.
"Told y'all. San isn't a dumbass." Gio exclaimed, chuckling.
"Whatcha mean Gio?" I asked.
"These ass wipes really though you'd forgive him since you invited him to the party. I didn't believe it and said that you wouldn't go on a date with him even if he said sorry and left Val." He shrugged.
"Smart man." I said shaking my head and smiling.
"C'mon San. Please don't be mad." Anthony said.
"I'm not mad. I actually don't really care. I just wouldn't go on a date with you now. Why would I? You fucked Val. And you think a little 'sorry' is gonna make me forget what I saw in that room?"
Damn, how dumb can this dude get?
"It was a mistake. Just please give me a second chance." He was begging.
"Yeah right. How could you shoving your dick into some bitch be a mistake? Please, you weren't even drunk. And if it was a mistake then why'd you constantly do it with her for like 5 hours straight!" I rolled my eyes. "That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life playboi."
"I know I fucked up. Just let me fix it."
"Fix what? There's nothing to fix when there was nothing official between us besides that date. That you didn't show up to. Can't really fix a date that never happened." I said with an emotionless expression and shrugged.
Everyone was quiet and had no expression on their faces. Man this silence is starting to get annoying. I couldn't read their faces.
"But I want it to happen."
"Sure. Then why'd you ditch me for like 5 hours to hookup with a worn out hag? I get that you had to help out Mikey and I was cool with that. Waited the 2 hours but you didn't come back. Hell. I don't even think you were even planning on coming back. You seem pretty damn busy at the time." I said casually, staring at my drink and took a sip. It doesn't really faze me to talk about anything, even stuff like this.
They really wanna talk about this right now with the party still going? Even though people are starting to leave.
"Can we just talk this out? Please." Anthony said desperately.
"Just drop the topic. We'll talk when the party's over."
He smiled in victory. Ha. Annoying.
