The world in chaos-
the pain,
the grief,
the broken promises,
the gossip, the hate.
Amongst all that noise-
there emerges, slow, wavering- but firm;
a voice;
a melody;
a song;
it is filled with hope,
with change,
and with struggle.
It is the anthem of the rebels-
and it says one thing and one thing alone:
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا كُوۡنُوۡا قَوَّامِيۡنَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ شُهَدَآءَ لِلّٰهِ وَلَوۡ عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ
'O believers! Stand firm for justice as witnesses for Allah even if it is against yourselves'. [4:135]
