LUX

John and I had gotten home as quickly as we could before Cameron could catch to up. Not that he'd catch up to us anyway. We sat down on the couch, trying to look as normal as we could before Cameron would explode. Volcanoes would have nothing on him as soon as he got in. I whistled casually, and it was really hard. How did humans do this? John was just sitting there, trying to make normal expressions.

I went to Cameron's closet quickly and got out two magazines of his 'porn.' Tossing one to John, he easily caught it with one hand. I sat down on the couch once again and started acting if I was interested in this. The pictures looked gruesome. I felt the bile rise in my throat at the intimate doings but I swallowed it down.

Cameron burst into the door, looking quite flabbergasted, if I may add. His face was red as a tomato and his breaths were coming in large pants. His eyes darted to John to me, and he kept repeating the process as he took us in. Then he burst out laughing at something. What was so funny?

"You... you guys should see yourselves!" He choked out through his fits laughter.

John and I looked at each other and then wondered what it would look like through Cameron's eyes. What we saw was this: John and I sprawled out onto the couch reading porn. We blushed furiously at our little scene and flung the papers across the room. "Stupid porn." I muttered under my breath.

I got up and off of the couch, stalking towards Cameron. Taking predatorial steps, he backed away in fear. I chuckled, dropping the mad act. He just crossed his arms and pouted. "Not funny." He said.

"Weren't you going to bring us to the mall today?" I asked.

Cameron looked like a deer in the headlights for a moment until he remembered his promise. Or whatever you called a commitment of some sort. He nodded his head and motioned us to the outside. Flailing his arms around, he motioned to a vehicle. It was gray and had four wheels. Is that how we were supposed to get to the 'mall?'

Cameron noticed our confusion and fixed it. He opened these doors for us and we got into the so called car. Buckling in these strap-like things, we watched in fascination as the vehicle made its way through the area, people, buildings and more vehicles getting passed.

The vehicle ended up in this lot. It had white stripes that made un-completed boxes and other vehicles were parked in them too. John and I's eyes got wide at the big building and the many people. It was like a big home. I think.

As the vehicle stopped, I unbuckled the elastic-like strap and opened the door that led to the outside world. I looked down at the ground pavement, making sure I wouldn't step of anything dangerous. Its not bad to be careful of your surroundings. Who knows whats been done in this planet Earth.

John followed me suit, and Cameron took a bit longer to get out because he was watching us. Its ironic, really, about how he thought we were stupid. It seemed so because we just aren't from Earth. We're from hell, and we're on Earth, going 'shopping.'

I stretched my arms out, being happy to be out of the cramped vehicle. I closed my eyes and let out a yawn, not caring about 'decency.' Moving my shoulders around in satisfaction, I let out a purr-like sound. Thats what I didn't like about me. I was similar to a cat. People would call me weird because I'm like that, but I'd pound their face in afterwards.

We walked around in the lot, getting closer the the building. A ton of people were entering it all at once, making it crowded. I balled up my fists in frustration, theres just so much a Grim Reaper could take. John just squeezed my shoulder lightly, showing understanding and that he was there and not lost. But we couldn't find Cameron in the swarm of people that highly represented bees at the moment.

We entered the building and waited at the side of the building, keeping an eye out for Cameron. He was nowhere. I made my head go to my forehead, so that if you were just looking at me you'd think I was saluting. But I looked for Cameron. He was the one who brought us here, and he's going to find us. Unless we find him. But you get what I mean.

I sighed in frustration as I leaned back on the wall. I gave up. He was going to find us. About five minutes later, we saw this panting guy running towards us. He was similar to Cameron in so many ways, but he just couldn't be him. The Cameron I know was this tired little Earthling that rarely does anything.

But I guess I underestimated him, because it was Cameron, matter of fact. I crossed my arms, John doing the same. Our eyebrows were raised. Why would he ditch us? "Why'd you ditch us?" I accused, voicing my thoughts.

He glared at me with the energy he could muster. "I didn't ditch you. Those people," He pointed to the crazy people that were pushing us into the mall. "Are crazy bastards and they supposedly seperated us in the jumbled mess."

What was a bastard? I guess it was an insult, from the way he said it. He spat it out in disgust and I uncrossed my arms and shrugged. Whatever it was, it didn't apply to me.
